Abstract
Stres pribadi dan akademik merupakan tantangan signifikan yang dihadapi mahasiswa dalam menjalani kehidupan perkuliahan. Stres akademik dipicu oleh beban tugas yang berat, tekanan pencapaian, jadwal perkuliahan yang padat, serta kecemasan menghadapi ujian, sedangkan stres pribadi muncul akibat masalah keluarga, relasi sosial, krisis identitas, dan tuntutan hidup mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk serta penyebab stres mahasiswa, memahami konsep koping spiritual dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam, dan menggambarkan penerapan pendidikan Islam berbasis koping spiritual dalam membantu mahasiswa mengatasi tekanan tersebut. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di Komunitas Lembaga Dakwah Mahasiswa (LDM) Universitas Islam Negeri Bandung. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik untuk menemukan pola makna dalam pengalaman mahasiswa menghadapi stres melalui pendekatan spiritual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa menghadapi dua bentuk utama stres, yaitu akademik dan pribadi. Pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap konsep koping spiritual dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam meliputi: (1) penguatan keimanan dan ibadah, (2) pemaknaan tekanan hidup dalam kerangka ajaran Islam, dan (3) kontribusi pendidikan agama Islam di kampus. Adapun penerapan pendidikan Islam berbasis koping spiritual dalam mengatasi stres mencakup: (1) strategi ibadah dan zikir sebagai coping religius, (2) pemaknaan musibah sebagai ujian dan pendidikan ruhani, (3) peran pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk ketahanan spiritual, serta (4) dukungan sosial dari komunitas keislaman. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan Islam tidak hanya berperan dalam penguatan kognitif, tetapi juga berkontribusi signifikan dalam mendukung kesehatan mental mahasiswa. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi institusi pendidikan tinggi dalam merancang program pembinaan spiritual yang kontekstual dan responsif terhadap tantangan psikologis mahasiswa di era modern. Academic stress is triggered by heavy workloads, achievement pressures, tight class schedules, and exam anxiety, while personal stress arises from family problems, social relationships, identity crises, and the demands of independent living. This study aims to analyze the forms and causes of student stress, understand the concept of spiritual coping from an Islamic educational perspective, and describe the application of spiritual coping-based Islamic education in helping students overcome these stresses. The research method used a qualitative approach with a case study design in the Student Da'wah Institute Community (LDM) of the State Islamic University of Bandung. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and then analyzed thematically to identify patterns of meaning in students' experiences of managing stress through a spiritual approach. The results indicate that students experience two primary forms of stress: academic and personal. Students' understanding of the concept of spiritual coping from an Islamic educational perspective includes: (1) strengthening faith and worship, (2) interpreting life's pressures within the framework of Islamic teachings, and (3) the contribution of Islamic religious education on campus. The application of Islamic education based on spiritual coping in dealing with stress includes: (1) strategies of worship and dhikr as religious coping, (2) the interpretation of disasters as tests and spiritual education, (3) the role of Islamic education in developing spiritual resilience, and (4) social support from the Islamic community. This study confirms that Islamic education not only plays a role in cognitive strengthening but also contributes significantly to supporting students' mental health. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for higher education institutions in designing spiritual development programs that are contextual and responsive to students' psychological challenges in the modern era.
