Abstract
Penelitian ini didasari hasil pra penelitian yang dilakukan di kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Margahayu. Berdasarkan pra penelitian masalah yang ditemukan adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran PKn. Hal ini disebabkan model pembelajaran yang diterapkan guru kurang efektif, sehingga peneliti menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT untuk mengatasinya. Penelitian ini memiliki rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana perencanaan model TGT, bagaimana pelaksanaan model pembelajaran TGT, hasil penggunaan model pembelajaran TGT untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, kendala dan upaya guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran TGT. Model TGT adalah salah satu tipe atau model pembelajaran kooperatif yang mudah diterapkan, melibatkan aktivitas seluruh siswa tanpa harus ada perbedaan status, melibatkan peran siswa sebagai tutor sebaya dan mengandung unsur permainan serta reinforcement.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode PTK, dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas XI IPA 1 yang berjumlah 40 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, evaluasi hasil belajar, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu : 1) perencanaan pembelajaran model pembelajaran TGT dimulai dari membuat RPP, silabus, media pembelajaran yakni kartu soal, lembar kerja kelompok; 2) Pelaksanaan model TGT sudah berjalan dengan baik, guru sudah mampu mengelola kelas dengan baik, mengatur waktu secara efektif, memotivasi siswa dengan baik; 3) Hasil belajar siswa dengan model TGT menunjukkan peningkatan yang diukur melalui post test sebagai hasil belajar kognitif, skala sikap sebagai hasil belajar ranah afektif dan DGK sebagai hasil belajar ranah psikomotor. Hasil observasi terhadap aktivitas siswa pun mengalami peningkatan. Siklus I menunjukkan 40,62% kategori “cukup”, siklus II 65,62% kategori “baik”, siklus III 90,62% kategori “sangat baik”; kendala yang dihadapi guru yaitu mengatur waktu, pengelolaan kelas yang kurang baik sehingga siswa kurang aktif dalam pelaksanaan model ini ; 4) upaya untuk mengatasinya yaitu merefleksi dan memperbaiki proses pembelajaran pada siklus selanjutnya. Salah satunya dengan memotivasi siswa dengan baik, merencanakan pembelajaran dengan matang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn terhadap siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Margahayu. Model ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif model yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, diharapkan hasil dalam penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagaimana mestinya. This study is based on the results of pre- research in the XI Science 1 class SMAN 1 Margahayu. Based on the pre-research, the writer found the problem in the class, it was about poor learning performances on civics subjects. It caused by learning model application was not effective. The study has several aims: a) It aims to find out the planning of civics learning by using TGT model, b) to describe the implementation of civics learning by using TGT model, c) to describe the enhancement of students’ learning performances by using TGT model, d) to describe the constrain of civics’ learning process by using media poster. e) to describe the solution to solve the problem in using TGT model. TGT is one of learning model which is easy to applicate, involve student activities without differences in status and peer tutors, in this model has game and reinforcement. This study use classroom action research (CAR), with 40 students in XI Science 1 as a subject study. This study uses classroom action research (CAR) in three cycles, and showed the result : 1) planning the learning program which showed in good performances in every cycle, 2) implementation TGT model, showed that teacher can use this model, manage the times and give motivation to students well, 3) observation showed that students have increase in their score we can see it beside in their observation. Post test showed in cognitive domain, Attitude scale showed affective domain and DGK showed psikomotor domain.In observation there is 40,62% “enough” categories for 1st cycle, 65,62% “good” categories for 2nd cycle, and 90,62% “very good” for 3rd cycle. 4) The problem which faced by the teacher aremanaging times, improve the class 5) The solution are reflection in every cycle and repair the process of learning so, students can be more understand about the subjects, have hood motivation to be better than before, and sportive competition. The conclucion of this study that TGT model can increase the result study of the student in civic education in XI Science 1 class, SMAN 1 Margahayu. This model recomended for increase the result study of the students, hopefully this study can use by the other well. Key words : TGT model, learning of civics, learning performances
