    Abstract

    Rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah terkait materi yang diberikan oleh guru yang membuat logical thinking siswa masih rendah dan kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran inovatif mendorong pengembangan dan implementasi model modified free inquiry berbantuan learning management system "Ajaria". Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh model modified free inquiry berbantuan LMS tersebut dalam meningkatkan kemampuan logical thinking dan respons siswa. Metode Penelitian menggunakan (R&D) dan menggunakan model ADDIE sebagai pengembangan media dan desain penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest digunakan pada 36 siswa kelas X-3 SMA Negeri 1 Subang. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes kemampuan logical thinking (pretest-posttest) dan angket tanggapan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) LMS "Ajaria" berhasil dikembangkan dan divalidasi oleh ahli, dengan instrumen soal yang terdiri dari 20 pilihan ganda dan 10 uraian yang valid dan reliabel (koefisien reliabilitas KR-20 = 0,817 untuk pilihan ganda dan KR-20 = 0,972 (untuk uraian). (2) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan logical thinking siswa yang signifikan secara statistik setelah penggunaan model modified free inquiry berbantuan LMS (Paired T-Test Sig. <0,001), dengan perolehan skor N-Gain rata-rata sebesar 0,76 (kategori "Tinggi"). Peningkatan tertinggi terjadi pada komponen Keruntunan berpikir (N-Gain 0,79), diikuti Kemampuan beragumentasi (0,70), dan penarikan kesimpulan (0,70). (3) Tanggapan siswa terhadap media LMS sangat positif, dengan persentase rata-rata keseluruhan 89,34% (kategori "Sangat Baik"). Disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model modified free inquiry berbantuan LMS berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan logical thinking siswa pada mata pelajaran Informatika dan diterima dengan sangat baik. The low ability of students in solving problems related to the material provided by teachers, which results in weak logical thinking skills, and the need for innovative learning media encouraged the development and implementation of a modified free inquiry model assisted by the Learning Management System (LMS) "Ajaria." This study analyzes the effect of the modified free inquiry model assisted by LMS in improving students’ logical thinking skills and responses. The research method employed Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model for media development, while a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design was applied to 36 students of class X-3 at SMA Negeri 1 Subang. The research instruments included a logical thinking test (pretest-posttest) and a student response questionnaire. The results showed that: (1) LMS "Ajaria" was successfully developed and validated by experts, with research instruments consisting of 20 multiple-choice and 10 essay questions that were valid and reliable (reliability coefficient KR-20 = 0.817 for multiple-choice and KR-20 = 0.972 for essay. (2) There was a statistically significant improvement in students’ logical thinking skills after using the modified free inquiry model assisted by LMS (Paired T-Test Sig. < 0.001), with an average N-Gain score of 0.76 (categorized as “High”). The highest improvement occurred in the component of sequential thinking (N-Gain 0.79), followed by reasoning ability (0.70), and drawing conclusions (0.70). (3) Students’ responses to the LMS were very positive, with an overall average percentage of 89.34% (categorized as “Very Good”). It is concluded that the implementation of the modified free inquiry model assisted by LMS significantly enhances students’ logical thinking skills in Informatics subjects and is very well received.
