Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan fakta di lapangan kurangnya kesadaran lingkungan siswa kelas XI F4 SMAN 1 Lembang, sehingga perlu adanya tindakan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan siswa melalui Pembelajaran Sejarah Berwawasan Lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan perencanaan, implementasi, hasil, dan juga hambatan serta solusi yang dilakukan selama implemtasi Pembelajaran Sejarah Berwawasan Lingkungan diterapkan. Pembelajaran Sejarah Berwawasan Lingkungan (PSBL) merupakan upaya terintegrasi untuk mengenalkan sejarah lingkungan (environmental history) secara luas dan arti pentingnya bagi kehidupan manusia. Dengan demikian penanaman kesadaran lingkungan merupakan salah satu tanggung jawab pendidikan sejarah, sehingga isu-isu yang menjadi fokus dalam sejarah lingkungan menjadi kajian yang dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran sejarah implementasi Pembelajaran Sejarah Berwawasan Lingkungan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan siswa kelas XI F4 SMAN 1 Lembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model John Elliot yang membagi setiap siklus menjadi beberapa tindakan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 siklus dengan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 3 tindakan. Hasil penelitian ini jika dilihat dari nilai rata-rata pertindakan maupun persiklus, peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan siswa kelas XI F4 SMAN 1 Lembang terus mengalami peningkatan, sejak siklus dua dengan nilai rata-rata cukup hingga siklus terakhir rata-rata sangat baik. Dengan demikian Penerapan Pembelajaran Sejarah Berwawasan Lingkungan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan siswa kelas XI F4 SMAN 1 Lembang setelah melalui 15 tindakan dalam 5 siklus. This study was motivated by findings in the field indicating a lack of environmental awareness among students in class XI F4 at SMAN 1 Lembang, necessitating action to increase students' environmental awareness through Environmentally-Conscious History Learning. This study aims to explain the planning, implementation, results, as well as the obstacles and solutions encountered during the implementation of Environmental History Education. Environmental History Education is an integrated effort to introduce environmental history broadly and its significance for human life. Thus, instilling environmental awareness is one of the responsibilities of history education, so that issues that are the focus of environmental history become studies that can be integrated into history learning through the implementation of Environmental History Learning to increase the environmental awareness of students in class XI F4 at SMAN 1 Lembang. This study employs the qualitative Classroom Action Research method based on John Elliot's model, which divides each cycle into several actions. The study consists of 5 cycles, with each cycle comprising 3 actions. The results of this study, when viewed from the average value of actions and per cycle, show that the environmental awareness of grade XI F4 students at SMAN 1 Lembang has continued to increase, from cycle two with a fairly good average value to the last cycle with a very good average value. Thus, the implementation of environmentally conscious history education can enhance the environmental awareness of Grade XI F4 students at SMAN 1 Lembang after undergoing 15 actions across five cycles.
