    Abstract

; Regional disparities in economic growth remain a serious challenge in Indonesia’s development. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence regional economic growth from an Islamic economic perspective using the endogenous growth theory approach. The variables used include the distribution of Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS) funds, foreign direct investment (FDI), Islamic microfinance, peer-to-peer (P2P) lending, and the Consumer Price Index (CPI), with Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) as the dependent variable. This research employs panel data regression using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) based on data from 34 provinces in Indonesia over the period 2019–2023. The results show that ZIS fund distribution, foreign investment, P2P lending, and CPI have a positive and significant effect on regional economic growth. Meanwhile, Islamic microfinance does not have a significant impact. These findings highlight the importance of Islamic financial instruments and macroeconomic stability in supporting more equitable and inclusive regional economic growth, and strengthen the application of endogenous growth theory through the Islamic economic approach within the context of economic development in Indonesia.
