Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aktivitas jual beli terhadap peningkatan kemampuan penggunaan nilai uang pada peserta didik tunagrahita ringan. Kemampuan memahami dan menggunakan nilai uang merupakan aspek penting dalam mendukung kemandirian peserta didik, namun peserta didik tunagrahita ringan sering mengalami kesulitan dalam transaksi sederhana seperti menghitung harga dan kembalian. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Single Subject Research (SSR) desain A-B-A, dengan subjek seorang peserta didik kelas XI di SLBN-A Citeureup Cimahi. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes unjuk kerja yang mencakup tiga indikator, yaitu membedakan pecahan nilai uang, menyeleksi nilai uang, dan menghitung uang untuk membeli barang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan bertahap dalam kemampuan penggunaan nilai uang. Pada fase baseline 1 (A1), subjek meraih skor 16, menandakan pemahaman dasar namun masih kesulitan dalam transaksi nyata. Setelah intervensi pada fase B, skor meningkat menjadi 17 hingga 18. Pada fase baseline 2 (A2), subjek secara konsisten mencapai skor maksimal 19. Persentase overlap antar fase di bawah 90% mengindikasikan aktivitas jual beli memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penggunaan nilai uang. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan melibatkan lebih dari satu subjek agar hasil lebih representatif dan dapat digeneralisasi. Aktivitas jual beli juga perlu diterapkan dalam konteks yang lebih beragam, seperti praktik di masyarakat atau berbasis transaksi daring. This study aims to determine the effect of buying and selling activities on improving the ability to use money among students with mild intellectual disabilities. The ability to understand and use money is an important aspect in supporting student independence, but students with mild intellectual disabilities often experience difficulties in simple transactions such as calculating prices and change. The study employs a quantitative approach using the Single Subject Research (SSR) method with an A-B-A design, with the subject being an eleventh-grade student at SLBN-A Citeureup Cimahi. Data were collected through a performance test covering three indicators: distinguishing currency denominations, selecting currency values, and calculating money to purchase goods. The results of the study show a gradual increase in the ability to use money. In baseline phase 1 (A1), subjects achieved a score of 16, indicating a basic understanding but still difficulty in real transactions. After the intervention in phase B, the score increased to 17 to 18. In baseline phase 2 (A2), subjects consistently achieved a maximum score of 19. The overlap percentage between phases being below 90% indicates that buying and selling activities have a significant impact on improving the ability to use monetary value. Further research is recommended to involve more than one subject to make the results more representative and generalizable. Buying and selling activities should also be applied in more diverse contexts, such as community-based practices or online transactions.
