Abstract
Kata Kunci: Foods and Drinks Games, pelafalan Bahasa Inggris, media pembelajaran Starting from the issue of low English pronunciation skills among elementary school students, this study aims to analyze the impact of using the Foods and Drinks Games media on the English pronunciation skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. The research employed a quasi- experimental method with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of two randomly selected classes: the experimental class, which used the Foods and Drinks Games media, and the control class, which used conventional media in the form of flashcards. Data were collected through pronunciation skill tests administered before and after the treatment. Data analysis was conducted using a gain test to measure improvement and a t-test to compare the results between the two groups. The findings revealed a significant improvement in the English pronunciation skills of students in both classes. However, the experimental class using the Foods and Drinks Games media demonstrated higher results compared to the control class. The average post-test score in the experimental class reached 86.96, while the control class scored 71.48. These findings indicate that the Foods and Drinks Games media is more effective in enhancing students' English pronunciation skills.
