Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keterampilan proses sains, penguasaan konsep, serta sikap ilmiah siswa dan meneliti mangrove Cagar Alam Pulau Dua sebagai sumber belajar bagi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian The Matching Only Posttest Only Control Group Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri A Kota Serang-Banten. Data diperoleh dari instrumen keterampilan proses sains, penguasaan konsep, angket sikap ilmiah, dan angket tanggapan siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: hasil keterampilan proses sains,penguasaan konsep, dan sikap ilmiah siswa yang memanfaatkan mangrove Cagar Alam Pulau Dua lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol; terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara keterampilan proses sains dan sikap ilmiah siswa pada kelas kontrol (r=0,520, berkorelasi sedang) dan pada kelas eksperimen (r=0,838, berkorelasi tinggi); terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada kelas kontrol (r=0,427, berkorelasi sedang) dan pada kelas eksperimen (r=0,550, berkorelasi sedang); terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antar indikator keterampilan proses sains dengan penguasaan konsep siswa. Kata kunci: Field Trip Mangrove, Keterampilan Proses Sains, Penguasaan Konsep, Sikap Ilmiah, dan Pencemaran Lingkungan. This study aimed to determine the relationship between science process skills, mastery of concepts, as well as scientific attitude of the students and review the mangrove Pulau Dua Nature Reserve as a source of learning for students. This research uses quasi-experiment method with The Matching Only Posttest Only Control Group Design. This research also applies experimental classes and control classes in class X SMA A Serang, Banten as research subjects. Data obtained from science process instrument skill, mastery of concepts, scientific attitude questionnaire, and questionnaire responses of the students and teachers. The results showed that; the results of science process skills, mastery of concepts, and scientific attitude of students who utilize mangrove Pulau Dua Nature Reserve is better than control class; there is a positive and significant relationship between science process skills and scientific attitude of students in the control class (r =0.520, moderate correlation) and in experimental class (r =0.838, high correlation); there is a positive and significant relationship between mastery of concepts and science process skills of the students in the control class (r =0.427, moderate correlation) and in experimental class (r =0.550, moderate correlation); there is a positive and significant relationship between indicators of science process skills with concepts mastery of the students.
