Abstract
Pendahuluan: Obesitas pada anak merupakan masalah gizi serius yang berdampak pada kesehatan jangka panjang. Perilaku makan yang tidak adaptif menjadi salah satu penyebab utama obesitas. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) efektif untuk memodifikasi pola pikir dan perilaku makan, terlebih bila dikemas dalam media edukatif yang menyenangkan. Tujuan : untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan kartu nutrisi berbasis CBT terhadap perilaku makan anak obesitas di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian : Menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan pre-test dan post-test pada dua kelompok. Sampel berjumlah 34 anak obesitas pada kelas III, IV, dan V di sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Intervensi dilakukan selama 12 sesi menggunakan media permainan kartu nutrisi berbasis CBT. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Child Eating Behaviour Questionnaire (CEBQ) dengan 8 subskala dan 35 item. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Uji independent t-test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan bermakna antara skor total perilaku makan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi permainan kartu nutrisi berbasis CBT selama 12 sesi yaitu (p = 0,018). Uji paired sample t-test juga menunjukkan penurunan signifikan pada lima dari delapan subskala, yaitu Satiety Responsiveness, Slowness in Eating, Food Fussiness, Emotional Overeating, dan Enjoyment of Food (p < 0,05) Simpulan: Permainan kartu nutrisi berbasis CBT efektif dalam menurunkan perilaku makan yang tidak adaptif pada anak obesitas. Intervensi ini dapat menjadi strategi edukatif yang menyenangkan dan aplikatif dalam promosi kesehatan anak usia sekolah. Introduction: Childhood obesity is a serious nutritional problem that has long-term impacts on health. Maladaptive eating behavior is one of the main contributing factors to obesity. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an effective method for modifying thought patterns and eating behavior, especially when delivered through engaging educational media. Objective : To determine the effect of a nutrition card game based on CBT on the eating behavior of children with obesity in elementary schools. Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest approach. The sample consisted of 34 children with obesity from grades III, IV, and V at elementary schools in Bandung City, selected using purposive sampling. The intervention was delivered over 12 sessions using a CBT based nutrition card game. Data were collected using the Child Eating Behaviour Questionnaire (CEBQ), which consists of 8 subscales and 35 items. Results and Discussion: The independent t-test showed a significant difference in the total eating behavior score before and after the intervention (p = 0.018). The paired sample t-test also indicated a significant decrease in five out of eight subscales, namely Satiety Responsiveness, Slowness in Eating, Food Fussiness, Emotional Overeating, and Enjoyment of Food (p < 0.05). Conclusion: The CBT-based nutrition card game is effective in reducing maladaptive eating behavior among children with obesity. This intervention can be a fun and applicable educational strategy in health promotion for school-aged children.
