Abstract
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder merupakan salah satu gangguan neurodevelopment yang dialami individu mulai dari anak-anak berlanjut hingga dewasa. Masih banyak orang dewasa yang memiliki gejala tersebut, tetapi tidak menyadarinya sebagai gangguan ADHD. Mereka menganggap gejala tersebut hanyalah kebiasaan buruk mereka, sehingga mereka menutupnya dari orang lain. Banyak anggapan di masyarakat pula gangguan ADHD hanya pada anak kecil dengan gejala hiperaktif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk merancang film pendek berjudul “Terlalu Banyak Catatan” sebagai media informasi untuk membantu masyarakat terutama orang dewasa, memahami bahwa ADHD tidak hanya pada anak-anak saja, tetapi pada orang dewasa juga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan Practice-Led Research (PLR). Proses penelitian dilakukan dalam lima tahap, yaitu: persiapan, pengimajinasi, pengembangan imajinasi, pengerjaan, dan hasil karya. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan studi literatur, kuesioner terbuka, dan analisis film sejenis. Hasil dari penelitian ini telah berhasil merancang film pendek “Terlalu Banyak Catatan” dengan menggunakan metode PLR dan banyak tanggapan dari penonton memahami makna yang disampaikan film ini. --------- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects individuals from childhood into adulthood. Many adults who exhibit symptoms of ADHD do not recognize it as such. They often dismiss these symptoms as mere bad habits, keeping them hidden from others. There is also a common misconception in society that ADHD only affects young children with hyperactive symptoms. Therefore, this study aims to create a short film titled “Terlalu Banyak Catatan” as an informational medium to help the public, especially adults, understand that ADHD is not limited to children but also affects adults. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a Practice-Led Research (PLR) approach. The research process is conducted in five stages: preparation, imagination, imagination development, production, and final output, aligned with film production management. Data is collected through observation, literature review, open-ended questionnaires, and analysis of similar films. The results of this research have successfully designed a short film titled “Terlalu Banyak Catatan” using the PLR method, and many audience responses have understood the meaning conveyed by this film.
