Abstract
Kemampuan penalaran matematis merupakan aspek penting dalam pembelajaran matematika, namun kenyataannya kemampuan ini pada topik garis dan sudut masih tergolong rendah pada peserta didik. Salah satu multimedia interaktif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik adalah Scratch. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tahapan pengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasis Scratch pada topik garis dan sudut untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik dan respons peserta didik setelah belajar menggunakan multimedia interaktif berbasis Scratch topik garis dan sudut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mempunyai 5 tahapan yaitu analisis (analyze), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), implementasi (implement), dan evaluasi (evaluate). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa tes, observasi, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa guru masih menghadapi kendala dalam proses pembelajaran karena penggunaan metode konvensional dan belum memanfaatkan multimedia interaktif seperti Scratch. Selanjutnya disusun multimedia interaktif pada topik garis dan sudut dengan menggunakan Scratch. Multimedia interaktif berbasis Scratch ini tergolong valid untuk penilaian materi dan penilaian media sehingga layak untuk digunakan dan cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik. Selain itu, multimedia interaktif ini juga mendapatkan respons yang positif dari para peserta didik. Multimedia interaktif berbasis Scratch ini dapat dijadikan alternatif media pembelajaran di sekolah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik. Mathematical reasoning ability is an important aspect of mathematics learning, but these abilities in the topics of lines and angles are still relatively low among students. Scratch is one interactive multimedia tool that can be used to improve students' mathematical reasoning ability. This study aims to describe the stages of developing interactive multimedia based on Scratch on the topic of lines and angles to improve students' mathematical reasoning ability and student responses after learning using Scratch-based interactive multimedia on the topic of lines and angles. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which has 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects in this study were seventh grade students in one of the junior high schools (SMP) in Bandung City, West Java. The data collection instruments in this study included tests, observations, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research results, it was found that teachers still face challenges in the learning process due to the use of conventional methods and the lack of utilization of interactive multimedia such as Scratch. Therefore, interactive multimedia was developed on the topic of lines and angles using Scratch. This Scratch-based interactive multimedia is valid for material assessment and media assessment, so it is suitable for use and sufficiently effective in enhancing students' mathematical reasoning ability. In addition, this interactive multimedia also received positive responses from the students. This Scratch-based interactive multimedia can serve as an alternative learning medium in schools to improve students' mathematical reasoning ability.
