    Abstract

    Banyak murid yang belum mampu mengidentifikasi potensi dan minat mereka secara tepat saat memilih mata pelajaran, sehingga berisiko salah arah dalam perencanaan pendidikan maupun karier masa depan. Permasalahan ini melatarbelakangi penelitian ini untuk menilai validitas asesmen Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) sebagai dasar pemilihan mata pelajaran yang lebih terukur, relevan, dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan secara objektif. Asesmen BK memiliki potensi untuk digunakan sebagai alat prediktif dalam proses pemetaan potensi dan penempatan murid, namun masih dibutuhkan bukti ilmiah mengenai validitas prediktifnya terhadap hasil belajar akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh skor asesmen BK, yang terdiri atas Advanced Progressive Matrices (APM), Intelligence Structure Test (IST), Edwards Personal Preference Schedule (EPPS), dan Inventori Minat Pekerjaan (IMP), terhadap hasil belajar murid dalam mata pelajaran Sosiologi di jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), serta menyusun formula prediktif berdasarkan hasil tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional tipe prediktif. Data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumentasi nilai rapor murid semester 1 hingga 6 dan skor mentah dari instrumen asesmen BK. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji signifikansi dan regresi linear berganda dengan trimming pada tingkat signifikansi 5% (p < 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa subtes memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar, baik positif maupun negatif. Temuan ini memperkuat bahwa asesmen BK memiliki validitas prediktif dan formula regresi yang dihasilkan dapat digunakan sebagai acuan pemetaan potensi. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan dilakukan dalam rentang waktu tiga tahun secara longitudinal untuk menguji konsistensi dan efektivitas model secara jangka panjang. Many students struggle to accurately identify their potential and interests when choosing subjects, which puts them at risk of making poor decisions in planning their future educational and career paths. This problem underlies this study, which aims to assess the validity of the Guidance and Counseling (BK) assessment as a basis for selecting subjects that are more measurable, relevant, and can be objectively accounted for. The BK assessment has the potential to be used as a predictive tool in the process of mapping potential and student placement. However, scientific evidence is still needed regarding its predictive validity on academic learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of BK assessment scores, consisting of Advanced Progressive Matrices (APM), Intelligence Structure Test (IST), Edwards Personal Preference Schedule (EPPS), and Job Interest Inventory (IMP), on student learning outcomes in Sociology subjects at the Senior High School (SMA) level, and to compile a predictive formula based on these results. The approach used is quantitative with a predictive correlational design. Secondary data were obtained from documentation of student report card grades from semesters 1 to 6 and raw scores from the BK assessment instrument. Data analysis was conducted through significance testing and multiple linear regression with trimming at a significance level of 5% (p < 0.05). The results showed that several subtests had a significant effect on learning outcomes, both positive and negative. These findings reinforce that the BK assessment has predictive validity and the resulting regression formula can be used as a reference for potential mapping. Further research is recommended to be conducted over three years longitudinally to test the consistency and effectiveness of the model in the long term.
