Abstract
Kemampuan pemecahan masalah memegang peran besar terhadap penguasaan konsep peserta didik. Model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan penguasaan konsep yaitu Problem Based Learning. Sejalan dengan pelaksanaan Problem Based Learning di era tranformasi pendidikan abad 21, penggunaan teknologi diperlukan sebagai penunjang dalam pembelajaran, salah satunya teknologi AI. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning berbantuan chatbot AI terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan penguasaan konsep peserta didik SMA pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Sampel terdiri dari 72 peserta didik yang terbagi menjadi 36 siswa kelas kontrol dan 36 peserta didik eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada penelitian ini diadaptasi dari Bransford dan Stein yang dikembangkan kembali oleh Kirkley & Foshay (2003), dan penguasaan konsep mengacu pada taksonomi Bloom revisi berdasarkan CP materi perubahan lingkungan Fase E kurikulum merdeka. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil uji statsitik menunjukan Problem Based Learning berbantuan chatbot AI tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan penguasaan konsep peserta didik SMA pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning, Chatbot AI, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, Penguasaan Konsep, Perubahan Lingkungan Problem-solving skills are one of the important skills that students need to master in this era of 21st-century educational transformation. Problem-solving skills also play a significant role in students' conceptual understanding. The appropriate learning model for developing problem-solving skills and conceptual understanding is Problem-Based Learning (PBL). In line with the implementation of PBL in the 21st-century educational transformation era, the use of technology is necessary as a support in learning, one of which is AI technology. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the AI chatbot-assisted Problem-Based Learning model on problem-solving skills and concept mastery among high school students on environmental change material. The research method used is a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design. The sample consists of 72 students divided into 36 control group students and 36 experimental group students. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling. Problem-solving skills in this study were adapted from Bransford and Stein, further developed by Kirkley & Foshay (2003), while conceptual understanding was based on Bloom's revised taxonomy according to the CP environmental change material Phase E of the Merdeka Curriculum. Data analysis was performed using the Mann Whitney test. Statistical test results indicate that Problem-Based Learning assisted by an AI chatbot does not affect problem-solving ability or concept mastery among high school students in environmental change material.
