Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran lirik lagu dalam album Balada Iman karya Anang Ardiansyah sebagai medium pembentukan karakter masyarakat Banjar, dengan fokus pada tiga aspek utama: (1) artikulasi spirit dan ide dalam lirik lagu, (2) hubungan nilai-nilai lirik dengan karakter masyarakat, dan (3) proses internalisasi nilai-nilai tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi interpretatif, menggabungkan kerangka teoritis filsafat Hegel (Phenomenology of Spirit), teori pendidikan karakter Lickona (moral knowing, feeling, action), dan teori internalisasi Vygotsky. Data dikumpulkan melalui analisis dokumen lirik lagu, wawancara mendalam dengan pemusik, budayawan, dan masyarakat Banjar, serta observasi partisipatif di Kota Banjarmasin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lirik lagu dalam Balada Iman mengandung spirit dan ide yang merefleksikan kesadaran kolektif masyarakat Banjar, khususnya dalam menyatukan nilai-nilai adat, agama, dan solidaritas sosial. Analisis Hegelian mengungkap bahwa lagu-lagu ini menjadi medium dialektika historis, di mana nilai-nilai seperti kejujuran, religiusitas, dan kebanggaan lokal diaktualisasikan dalam praktik sosial. Dari perspektif Lickona, lirik lagu berfungsi sebagai alat pendidikan karakter yang efektif, mencakup tiga dimensi: pengetahuan moral (moral knowing), penghayatan emosional (moral feeling), dan tindakan nyata (moral action). Sementara itu, teori Vygotsky memperlihatkan bahwa internalisasi nilai terjadi melalui tahapan pembiasaan, pengulangan, dan pengalaman emosional, di mana lagu menjadi cultural tool yang mentransformasi nilai eksternal menjadi bagian dari kesadaran individu dan komunitas. Temuan utama penelitian ini meliputi: (1) identifikasi empat bentuk ide dominan dalam lirik lagu, yaitu keseimbangan kosmologis (adat, agama, solidaritas), ekoteologi Banjar, solidaritas profetik, dan resistensi kultural; (2) tujuh dimensi nilai karakter yang terkait dengan lirik lagu, seperti: (a) religiusitas, (b) etos kerja, dan (c) identitas budaya; serta (3) sepuluh dimensi internalisasi nilai, termasuk aspek religius, sosial, afektif, dan pendidikan. Penelitian ini juga mengungkap bahwa lagu-lagu Balada Iman tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi sebagai instrumen reflektif dan transformatif yang memperkuat karakter masyarakat Banjar. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa lirik lagu daerah dapat menjadi wahana edukatif dan kultural yang memiliki kekuatan dalam membentuk karakter masyarakat, terutama melalui integrasi nilai-nilai lokal dan universal. Implikasi teoretis penelitian ini memperkaya kajian filsafat Hegel, teori pendidikan karakter, dan psikologi sosial, sementara implikasi praktisnya mendorong integrasi lagu daerah ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan, pelestarian budaya, dan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal. This study aims to examine the role of song lyrics in the album Balada Iman by Anang Ardiansyah as a medium for shaping the character of the Banjar community, focusing on three main aspects: (1) the articulation of spirit and ideas in song lyrics, (2) the relationship of lyrical values with the character of society, and (3) the process of internalizing these values in daily life. This study uses a qualitative approach with an interpretive phenomenological design, combining the theoretical framework of Hegel's philosophy (Phenomenology of Spirit), Lickona's theory of character education (moral knowing, feeling, action), and Vygotsky's theory of internalization. Data was collected through the analysis of song lyric documents, in-depth interviews with musicians, cultural experts, and the Banjar community, as well as participatory observation in the city of Banjarmasin. The results of the study show that the song lyrics in Balada Iman contain a spirit and ideas that reflect the collective consciousness of the Banjar people, especially in uniting customary values, religion, and social solidarity. Hegelian analysis reveals that these songs became a medium of historical dialectics, in which values such as honesty, religiosity, and local pride were actualized in social practices. From Lickona's perspective, song lyrics serve as an effective character education tool, encompassing three dimensions: moral knowing, emotional appreciation (moral feeling), and real action (moral action). Meanwhile, Vygotsky's theory shows that the internalization of values occurs through stages of habituation, repetition, and emotional experience, where songs become cultural tools that transform external values into part of individual and community consciousness. The main findings of this study include: (1) the identification of four dominant forms of ideas in song lyrics, namely cosmological balance (customs, religion, solidarity), Banjar ecotheology, prophetic solidarity, and cultural resistance; (2) seven dimensions of character values related to song lyrics, such as: (a) religiosity, (b) work ethic, and (c) cultural identity; and (3) ten dimensions of value internalization, including religious, social, affective, and educational aspects. This research also revealed that the songs of Balada Iman not only function as entertainment but also as reflective and transformative instruments that strengthen the character of the Banjar people. The conclusion of the study confirms that regional song lyrics can be a powerful educational and cultural vehicle in shaping the character of society, especially through the integration of local and universal values. The theoretical implications of this study enrich the study of Hegel's philosophy, character education theory, and social psychology, while its practical implications encourage the integration of regional songs into the educational curriculum, cultural preservation, and the development of learning media based on local wisdom.
