    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan HOTS dan menumbuhkan sikap ilmiah siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan open ended worksheet (OEW) pada materi gelombang bunyi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu mixed methods (metode campuran) dimana model yang digunakan yaitu model embedded experimental. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pre-post control group design. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI yang terdiri dari 29 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 27 siswa kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengukur HOTS siswa yaitu berupa tes HOTS berbentuk pilihan ganda two-tier, sedangkan untuk mengukur sikap ilmiah siswa menggunakan angket sikap ilmiah. Kemudian, pedoman wawancara digunakan untuk memperoleh data kualitatif terkait HOTS dan sikap ilmiah siswa. Lembar validasi OEW digunakan untuk mengukur validitas open ended worksheet, sedangkan angket respon siswa digunakan untuk mengetahui respon siswa setelah pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan OEW. Analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan indeks V untuk validitas OEW, n-gain untuk mengukur peningkatan, dan uji hipotesis untuk mengukur efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan OEW dalam melatihkan dan menumbuhkan sikap ilmiah siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan OEW yang disusun efektif meningkatkan HOTS dan menumbuhkan sikap ilmiah siswa pada materi gelombang bunyi. Nilai n-gain HOTS untuk indikator menganalisis sebesar 0,51, n-gain indikator mengevaluasi sebesar 0,42 dan n-gain indikator mencipta sebesar 0,31, ketiganya termasuk pada kategori sedang. Uji T independen satu ekor menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol terhadap peningkatan HOTS dan penumbuhan sikap ilmiah siswa. Maka dari itu, penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan OEW dapat menjadi salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan HOTS dan sikap ilmiah siswa pada pembelajaran fisika. This study aims to improve HOTS and foster students' scientific attitudes through the application of problem-based learning assisted by open-ended worksheets (OEW) on sound wave material. The research method used is a mixed method (mixed method) where the model used is an embedded experimental model. This research design uses a pre-post control group design. The subjects of this study were grade 11 students, comprising 29 students from the experimental class and 27 students from the control class. The research instrument used to measure students' HOTS was a two-tier multiple-choice HOTS test, while to measure students' scientific attitudes, a scientific attitude questionnaire was used. Then, an interview guide was used to obtain qualitative data related to HOTS and students' scientific attitudes. The OEW validation sheet was used to assess the validity of the open-ended worksheet. In contrast, the student response questionnaire was used to gather feedback from students after they completed the OEW-assisted problem-based learning. Data analysis was conducted using the V index for OEW validity, n-gain to measure improvement, and hypothesis testing to assess the effectiveness of the OEW-assisted problem-based learning model in training and fostering students' scientific attitudes. The results of the study indicate that the application of the problem-based learning model, assisted by OEW, is practical in increasing HOTS and fostering students' scientific attitudes in the context of sound wave material. The HOTS n-gain value for the analyzing indicator is 0.51, the n-gain for the emitting indicator is 0.42, and the n-gain for the creating indicator is 0.31; all three fall within the moderate category. The one-tailed independent T-test shows a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in increasing HOTS and fostering students' scientific attitudes. Therefore, the application of the problem-based learning model assisted by OEW can be one solution to improve HOTS and students' scientific attitudes in physics learning.
