    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap kecakapan hidup siswa dalam konteks pendidikan jasmani. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain factorial 2x2. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama delapan kali pertemuan dengan melibatkan 72 peserta didik yang terbagi dalam dua kelompok model pembelajaran, yakni Project Based Learning (PJBL) dan Problem Based Learning (PBL), masing-masing berjumlah 36 siswa SMAN 1 Subang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket motivasi dan angket Life skills Scale for Sport (LSSS) yang telah valid dan reliabel. Analisis data menggunakan Two Way Anova. Dengan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara kedua model pembelajaran terhadap pengembangan kecakapan hidup siswa, di mana pendekatan PJBL memberikan hasil yang lebih optimal dibandingkan PBL. Selanjutnya, ditemukan pula adanya interaksi antara jenis model pembelajaran dan tingkat motivasi belajar terhadap kecakapan hidup siswa. Secara spesifik, siswa dengan motivasi tinggi yang mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis proyek menunjukkan peningkatan kecakapan hidup yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan mereka yang belajar melalui pendekatan berbasis masalah. Sebaliknya, pada kelompok dengan motivasi rendah, tidak terdapat perbedaan yang berarti antara kedua model, bahkan pendekatan PBL cenderung lebih sesuai bagi siswa dengan karakteristik tersebut. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting dalam pemilihan strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif terhadap kondisi psikologis siswa guna mengoptimalkan pengembangan kecakapan hidup dalam pendidikan jasmani. This study aims to examine the differences in the effects of instructional models and learning motivation on students' life skills in the context of physical education. The research employed an experimental method with a 2x2 factorial design. It was conducted over eight sessions involving 72 students from SMAN 1 Subang, divided into two groups of instructional models: Project-Based Learning (PJBL) and Problem-Based Learning (PBL), with 36 students in each group. The instruments used were a validated and reliable motivation questionnaire and the Life Skills Scale for Sport (LSSS). Data analysis was performed using Two-Way ANOVA. The results revealed a significant difference in the effects of the two instructional models on students’ life skills development, with the PJBL approach yielding more optimal outcomes compared to the PBL model. Furthermore, an interaction was identified between the type of instructional model and the level of learning motivation in influencing students’ life skills. Specifically, students with high motivation who received project-based instruction demonstrated greater improvements in life skills than those taught through the problem-based approach. Conversely, among students with low motivation, there was no significant difference between the two models, although the PBL approach appeared to be more suitable for this group. These findings highlight the importance of selecting adaptive instructional strategies that align with students’ psychological characteristics to optimize life skills development in physical education.
