    Abstract

    Mendekatnya pesta demokrasi di Indonesia membuat hampir semua partai dan aktor-aktor politik memanfaatkan media sosial untuk menarik dukungan dan membentuk opini publik. Instagram menjadi media sosial dengan jumlah pengguna terbanyak setelah WhatsApp di Indonesia. Rendahnya minat baca berita politik pada pemilih pemula disebabkan oleh penyampaian berita yang konvensional dan kurang interaktif. Oleh karena itu, muncul konten-konten politik di media sosial yang dapat membantu peningkatan minat baca berita seperti konten infografis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh konten infografis politik dari akun Instagram @generasimelekpolitik terhadap minat baca berita pemilih pemula. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif koresional dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 393 orang responden pemilih pemula yang mengikuti akun @generasimelekpolitik di Instagram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif antara konten infografis politik (X) terhadap minat baca berita politik (Y). Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Konten Infografis Politik Instagram @generasimelekpolitik terhadap minat baca berita pemilih pemula. Kata Kunci : Konten Infografis Politik, Minat Baca, Instagram, Pemilih Pemula The approaching democratic party in Indonesia has made almost all political parties and actors utilize social media to attract support and shape public opinion. Instagram has become the social media with the largest number of users after WhatsApp in Indonesia. The low interest in reading political news among new voters is caused by conventional and less interactive news delivery. Therefore, political content has emerged on social media that can help increase interest in reading news such as infographic content. The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of political infographic content from the Instagram account @generasimelekpolitik on the interest in reading news among new voters. The method used in this study was quantitative correlation by distributing questionnaires to 393 respondents of new voters who followed the @generasimelekpolitik account on Instagram. The results of the study showed a positive influence between political infographic content (X) on interest in reading political news (Y). Overall, the results of the study showed that there was a significant influence between Political Infographic Content on Instagram @generasimelekpolitik on interest in reading news among new voters.
