Abstract

a. Pada era digital saat ini, persaingan antara program studi di berbagai perguruan tinggi setiap tahun kian meningkat, hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa program PGSD dituntut untuk meningkatkan daya saing dengan salah satu cara menggunakan video promosi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan practice-led research yang dimana pada pendekatan tersebut dijelaskan beberapa tahap yang akan dilalui seperti tahap persiapan yang memuat pencarian data dengan wawancara, tahap mengimajinasi berisi tentang penyusunan konsep, tahap pengembangan imajinasi yaitu memuat pembuatan storyline dan storyboard, tahap pengerjaan berisi proses shooting dan editing, hasil karya berisi distribusi dan apresiasi. Distribusi hasil penelitian ini dilakukan publikasi video di youtube dan videotron UPI Cibiru. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur, wawancara dan kuesioner sebagai upaya mengetahui respon atau tanggapan audiens terhadap video promosi Prodi PGSD. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa perancangan video promosi Prodi PGSD dengan fokus kegiatan akademik dosen mendapat respon positif serta mampu untuk memperkuat citra dan memperkenalkan Prodi PGSD terhadap calon mahasiswa. ------ b. In today's digital age, competition between study programs at various universities is increasing every year, indicating that PGSD programs are required to improve their competitiveness, one way being through the use of promotional videos. This study employs a practice-led research approach, which involves several stages: the preparation stage, which includes data collection through interviews; the imagination stage, focusing on concept development; the imagination development stage, involving the creation of a storyline and storyboard; the production stage, encompassing the shooting and editing process; and the final product stage, which includes distribution and appreciation. The distribution of research results was conducted through video publication on YouTube and the UPI Cibiru videotron. Data collection methods in this study included literature review, interviews, and questionnaires to assess audience responses to the PGSD program promotional video. The research findings indicate that designing a promotional video for the PGSD program with a focus on faculty academic activities received positive feedback and effectively strengthened the program’s image and introduced it to prospective students.
