    Abstract

    Proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) khususnya pada mata pelajaran paket keahlian banyak mengandung unsur praktik dibandingkan dengan teori. Namun, pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi masih belum mendalam. Hal ini ditandai dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang masih tergolong rendah. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis menjadi salah satu aspek penting yang perlu dievaluasi dalam mendorong peserta didik untuk dapat menyelesaikan masalah terutama pada studi kasus infrastruktur jaringan komputer. Diperlukan suatu model yang mengutamakan kebermaknaan dalam proses pembelajaran disertai multimedia interaktif sebagai alat bantu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Meaningful Instructional Design (MID) berbantuan multimedia interaktif 3D berbasis Unity. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu R&D dengan model pengembangan media SHM (Siklus Hidup Menyeluruh) serta desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan memperoleh validasi dari ahli yaitu tingkat validitas sebesar 87,5% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. (2) Penerapan model MID dalam pembelajaran pada materi routing memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan memperoleh rerata n-gain sebesar 0,80 dengan kategori “Tinggi”. (3) Rerata hasil tanggapan peserta didik terhadap penggunaan multimedia interaktif mencapai 85,09% yang dikategorikan “Sangat Baik”. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model MID berbantuan multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan untuk materi routing statis terbukti berdampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir serta pemahaman materi. The learning process in Vocational High Schools (SMK), particularly in expertise-based subjects, emphasizes practical activities over theoretical ones. However, students' understanding of the material remains shallow, as reflected in their relatively low critical thinking skills. Therefore, improving critical thinking skills is a crucial aspect that needs to be evaluated to encourage students to solve problems, especially in case studies related to computer network infrastructure. A learning model that emphasizes meaningful learning supported by interactive multimedia is required to address this issue. This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills by implementing the Meaningful Instructional Design (MID) learning model supported by 3D interactive multimedia developed using Unity. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) with the Whole Life Cycle (Siklus Hidup Menyeluruh/SHM) media development model and a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the developed interactive multimedia received expert validation with a validity score of 87.5%, categorized as "Very Good"; (2) the implementation of the MID model in teaching routing material had a positive effect on improving students' critical thinking skills, with an average n-gain score of 0.80, classified as "High"; and (3) the average student response to the use of interactive multimedia reached 85.09%, categorized as "Very Good". It can be concluded that the implementation of the MID model supported by the developed interactive multimedia for static routing material has a significant positive impact on enhancing students' critical thinking skills and understanding of the material.
