Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan digital interactive learning module berbasis STEM yang berorientasi pada peningkatan literasi STEM dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMA pada materi pemanasan global. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D, meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 36 peserta didik kelas X di salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes literasi STEM aspek pengetahuan, angket dan lembar observasi untuk aspek sikap dan keterampilan, tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, serta lembar validasi ahli untuk menilai kelayakan modul. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul layak digunakan dengan kategori sangat baik dari segi isi, tampilan, dan keterbacaan. Modul yang dikembangkan memiliki karakteristik integrasi aspek STEM ke dalam aktivitas pembelajaran kontekstual; memuat indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis; serta menggunakan fitur digital interaktif seperti Liveworksheet, Google Docs, PhET Simulation, dan Quizizz. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan literasi STEM peserta didik. N-gain literasi STEM aspek pengetahuan mencakup literasi sains sebesar 0,62, literasi Technology-Engineering 0,58, serta literasi matematika 0,56, yang seluruhnya termasuk kategori sedang. Aspek sikap dan keterampilan menunjukkan respons positif dengan keterlibatan aktif dalam proyek. Keterampilan berpikir kritis juga meningkat dengan n-gain sebesar 0,53 (kategori sedang), tertinggi pada indikator memfokuskan pertanyaan dan terendah pada indikator memutuskan tindakan. Analisis kemampuan peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan modul menunjukkan adanya pergeseran ke tingkat kemampuan yang lebih tinggi. Pergeseran ini divisualisasikan melalui Wright Map, yang memetakan sebaran kemampuan setiap individu. Dengan demikian, digital interactive learning module berbasis STEM ini dinyatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi STEM dan keterampilan berpikir kritis, serta berpotensi menjadi inovasi pembelajaran fisika yang kontekstual dan relevan dengan kebutuhan pendidikan abad ke-21. This study aims to develop a STEM-based digital interactive learning module that focuses on improving STEM literacy and critical thinking skills of high school students on the topic of global warming. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D development model, which includes the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The research subjects consisted of 36 tenth-grade students from a senior high school in Bandung City. The instruments used include a STEM literacy test for the knowledge aspect, questionnaires and observation sheets for the attitude and skill aspects, a critical thinking skill test, and expert validation sheets to assess the feasibility of the module. The validation results showed that the module is feasible to use, with a very good category in terms of content, appearance, and readability. The developed module is characterized by the integration of STEM aspects into contextual learning activities; inclusion of critical thinking skill; and the use of interactive digital features such as Liveworksheet, Google Docs, PhET Simulation, and Quizizz. The research results showed an improvement in students’ STEM literacy. The n-gain for STEM literacy in the knowledge aspect includes scientific literacy at 0.62, technology-engineering literacy at 0.58, and mathematical literacy at 0.56, all of which fall into the medium category. The attitude and skill aspects showed positive responses with active student engagement in the project. Critical thinking skills also improved with an n-gain of 0.53 (medium category), with the highest increase in the “focusing questions” indicator and the lowest in the “deciding actions” indicator. Analysis of student abilities before and after using the module shows a shift to a higher level of ability. This shift is visualized through a Wright Map, which maps the distribution of each individual's abilities. Thus, this STEM-based digital interactive learning module is considered effective in improving STEM literacy and critical thinking skills, and has the potential to become an innovative physics learning tool that is contextual and relevant to 21st-century education needs.
