    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara aksesibilitas dan citra destinasi terhadap keputusan berkunjung ke Ranca Upas, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis korelasi Pearson, dipilih karena data memenuhi asumsi normalitas sehingga interpretasi hasil dapat dilakukan secara akurat. Teknik pengumpulan dta melalui kuisioner dan observasi langsung kepada 100 responden melalui teknik accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara aksesibilitas dan citra destinasi, yang mengindikasikan bahwa kemudahan akses meliputi infrastruktur jalan, kemudahan transportasi, dan ketersediaan petunjuk arah berkontribusi terhadap pembentukan citra positif destinasi. Namun, hubungan antara aksesibilitas dan keputusan berkunjung menunjukkan arah negatif yang lemah dan tidak signifikan, sehingga kemudahan akses bukan menjadi faktor penentu utama keputusan wisatawan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor lain, seperti daya tarik destinasi, kualitas pengalaman wisata, dan strategi promosi, kemungkinan memiliki peran lebih dominan. Implikasinya, pengelola destinasi perlu tidak hanya fokus pada peningkatan aksesibilitas, tetapi juga memperkuat citra destinasi dan faktor pendukung lain untuk mendorong minat serta keputusan kunjungan wisatawan. This study aims to analyze the relationship between accessibility and destination image on the decision to visit Ranca Upas, both partially and simultaneously. The research employed a quantitative approach with Pearson correlation analysis, chosen because the data met the normality assumption, allowing for accurate interpretation of the results. Data were collected through questionnaires and direct observation of 100 respondents using an accidental sampling technique. The findings reveal a positive and significant relationship between accessibility and destination image, indicating that ease of access including road infrastructure, transportation convenience, and the availability of directional signs contributes to the formation of a positive destination image. However, the relationship between accessibility and the decision to visit shows a weak negative direction and is not statistically significant, suggesting that ease of access is not the main determinant of tourists’ visiting decisions. These results suggest that other factors, such as the attractiveness of the destination, quality of the tourist experience, and promotional strategies, may play a more dominant role. The implication is that destination managers should not only focus on improving accessibility but also on strengthening the destination image and other supporting factors to increase tourist interest and visiting decisions.
