Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh maraknya pengidap penyakit degeneratif pada usia produktif yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya pemahaman mengenai kesehatan tubuh. Di mana penelitian pengembangan ini ditujukan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbentuk aplikasi yang bernama SAREHAT sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi kesehatan tubuh di kelas lima sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan desain instruksional ADDIE, yang tahapannya meliputi Analisis (Analysis), Desain (Design), Pengembangan (Development), Penerapan (Implementation), dan Evaluasi (Evaluation). Populasi penelitian melibatkan 36 siswa dan guru kelas V pada salah satu sekolah dasar negeri di Kabupaten Bandung serta 2 guru kelas dan 3 ahli. Wawancara, lembar validasi, kuesioner respon siswa, serta alat tes pemahaman digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa aplikasi SAREHAT sebagai media pembelajaran terbukti memiliki kelayakan dan keberhasilan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi kesehatan tubuh serta mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa. Sehingga aplikasi SAREHAT dapat berimplikasi pada kesadaran siswa akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan tubuh yang dapat menumbuhkan perilaku pola hidup sehat sejak dini. This research was motivated by the prevalence of degenerative diseases among people of productive age caused by a lack of understanding about body health. This development research aimed to design and develop an educational media tool with the named SAREHAT application as an effort to improve students' comprehension of body health topics in fifth grade elementary school. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) methodology with an ADDIE instructional design approach, which consists of the following stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research population involved 36 students and fifth-grade teachers at a public elementary school in Bandung Regency, as well as two teachers and three experts. Interviews, validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and comprehension tests were used as data collection techniques. The results of the study prove that the SAREHAT application as a learning medium is feasible and successful in improving students' comprehension of body health topics and has received positive responses from students. Thus, the SAREHAT application can raise students' awareness of the importance of maintaining body health, which can foster healthy lifestyle behaviors from an early age.
