    Abstract

    ABSTRAK Keterampilan berpikir sistem merupakan keterampilan yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk mengatasi berbagai permasalahan. Dengan berpikir sistem kita dapat memandang permasalahan secara menyeluruh sehingga dapat membuat solusi yang lebih terarah berdasarkan sumber permasalahan. Saat ini, kebanyakan siswa memilih cara yang praktis untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan sehingga ketika siswa dihadapkan pada suatu permasalahan yang kompleks siswa merasa kesulitan mencari solusi yang tepat. Maka diperlukan kegiatan pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa dalam melatih keterampilan berpikir sistem. Salah satu kegiatan pembelajaran tersebut adalah pembelajaran Discovery learning berbantuan Mind map. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memperoleh informasi mengenai pembelajaran Discovery learning berbantuan Mind map untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir sistem siswa SMA pada materi sistem ekskresi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental dengan desain Nonequivalent control group design. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 56 siswa kelas XI di salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari soal uraian keterampilan berpikir sistem berjumlah 15 soal serta angket respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran Discovery learning berbantuan Mind map. Data keterampilan berpikir sistem dianalisis menggunakan uji statistika uji Wilcoxon dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran Discovery learning berbantuan Mind map dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir sistem siswa. Selain itu, siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran Discovery learning berbantuan Mind map dengan memperoleh rata-rata skor yang tergolong ke dalam kategori baik sekali. ABSTRACT Systems thinking skills are skills that are needed to overcome various problems. By thinking about the system, we can look at the problem as a whole so that we can make a more targeted solution based on the source of the problem. Nowadays, most students choose a practical way to solve problems so that when students are faced with a complex problem, students find it difficult to find the right solution. Therefore, learning activities are needed that can help students in practicing systems thinking skills. One of these learning activities is Discovery learning with the help of Mind map. The purpose of this study is to obtain information about Discovery learning assisted by Mind map to improve the thinking skills of high school students on excretory system material. The research method used was Quasi Experimental with a Nonequivalent control group design. The participants in this study amounted to 56 grade XI students at one of the high schools in the city of Bandung. The research instruments used consisted of 15 questions on the description of system thinking skills and a questionnaire of student responses to Discovery learning assisted by Mind maps. The system thinking skills data were analyzed using the statistical test of the Wilcoxon test and the N-Gain test. The results of the study show that Discovery learning assisted by Mind Map can improve students' system thinking skills. In addition, students responded positively to Discovery learning with the help of Mind map by obtaining an average score that was classified as very good.
