Abstract
Praktikum merupakan salah satu metode pembelajaran yang penting dalam pendidikan ilmu sains. Untuk menunjang keberhasilan praktikum, peserta didik dituntut memiliki keterampilan laboratorium. Maka, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi peserta didik dalam menguatkan keterampilan laboratorium yang akan digunakan dalam praktikum nyata. Media yang dapat digunakan salah satunya yaitu virtual lab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan virtual lab untuk penguatan keterampilan laboratorium pada praktikum uji urin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi-eksperimental dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control-Group Design. Partisipan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 60 peserta didik kelas XI di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari soal pilihan ganda pengetahuan prosedural berjumlah 20 soal, lembar uji kinerja praktikum, dan angket respons peserta didik terhadap penggunaan virtual lab. Data pengetahuan prosedural dianalisis menggunakan uji statistika Independent Sample t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pengetahuan prosedural antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol setelah melakukan pembelajaran. Keterampilan laboratorium peserta didik kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Begitupun dengan hasil kinerja praktikum peserta didik memperoleh nilai lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan virtual lab berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan laboratorium peserta didik. Selain itu, peserta didik memberikan respons positif terhadap penggunaan virtual lab. Practicum is one of the important learning methods in science education. To support the success of practicum, students are required to have laboratory skills. Therefore, learning media is needed that can facilitate students in strengthening laboratory skills that will be used in real practicums. One of the media that can be used is the virtual lab. This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of virtual labs to strengthen laboratory skills in urine test practicum. The research method used was Quasi-experimental with a Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control-Group Design research design. The participants in this study were 60 students in class XI at one of the State High Schools in the city of Bandung. The research instruments used consisted of 20 questions of multiple choice of procedural knowledge, practicum performance test sheets, and questionnaires of students' responses to the use of virtual labs. Procedural knowledge data was analyzed using the Independent Sample t-Test statistical test. The results showed that there was a significant difference in procedural knowledge between the experimental class and the control class after learning. The laboratory skills of the students of the experimental class are higher compared to the control class. Likewise, the results of the practicum performance of students obtained higher scores than the control class. This shows that the use of virtual labs affects students' laboratory skills. In addition, students responded positively to the use of virtual labs.
