    Abstract

    Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan penting abad ke-21. Namun, data PISA (OECD, 2024) menunjukkan skor literasi siswa Indonesia masih rendah, yakni 359 dari rata-rata 476, dan menjadi penurunan paling signifikan dalam lima edisi terakhir. Hal ini mengindikasikan rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Model revised Argument-Driven Inquiry (rADI) dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan penguasaan konsep melalui pendekatan inkuiri berbasis isu sosiosaintifik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan penguasaan konsep siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran rADI pada materi Perubahan Lingkungan. Penelitian menggunakan metode pra-eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest dengan diawali pre-test lalu pembelajaran Perubahan Lingkungan menggunakan model rADI dan diakhiri dengan post-test. Subjek penelitian adalah 35 siswa kelas X IPA di salah satu SMA di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Pengukuran data penelitian meliputi tes uraian keterampilan berpikir kritis, tes pilihan ganda penguasaan konsep, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan angket respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan penguasaan konsep termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan respons siswa terhadap model rADI termasuk kategori sangat baik dan sangat positif. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model rADI efektif diterapkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi Perubahan Lingkungan. Critical thinking skills are essential skills for the 21st century. However, PISA data (OECD, 2024) shows that Indonesian students' literacy scores are still low, at 359 out of an average of 476, the most significant decline in the last five editions. This indicates low critical thinking skills. The Revised Argument-Driven Inquiry (rADI) model can be used to improve critical thinking skills and conceptual mastery through a socioscientific issue-based inquiry approach. This study aims to analyze the improvement in students' critical thinking skills and conceptual mastery after implementing the rADI learning model on environmental change material. The study used a pre-experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design, starting with a pre-test, followed by learning about environmental change using the rADI model, and ending with a post-test. The research subjects were 35 10th grade science students at a high school in West Bandung Regency. Data measurements included a critical thinking skills essay test, a multiple-choice concept mastery test, an observation sheet for learning implementation, and a student response questionnaire to the learning. The results showed improvements in critical thinking skills and conceptual mastery were in the moderate category. The implementation of learning and student responses to the rADI model are in the very good and very positive categories. The conclusion of this study indicates that the rADI model is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills and conceptual mastery in environmental change.
