    Abstract

    Kerusakan lingkungan seperti deforestasi, polusi, dan hilangnya keanekaragaman hayati menjadi isu global yang mengancam keberlangsungan kehidupan. Di Indonesia sendiri, rendahnya kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan siswa menjadi perhatian serius, sebagaimana tercermin dari berbagai hasil penelitian dan data indeks kualitas lingkungan yang masih tergolong sangat kurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh pembelajaran Virtual Field Trip berbasis inkuiri pada materi ekosistem terhadap kesadaran lingkungan siswa. Menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Instrumen disusun berdasarkan tiga dimensi kesadaran lingkungan menurut Partanen-Hertell et al. (1999), yaitu pengetahuan, motivasi, dan keterampilan, yang diukur melalui tes dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa penerapan VFT berbasis inkuiri pada materi ekosistem berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan siswa dengan hasil nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil juga membuktikan bahwa perlakuan terbukti dapat meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan diberikan. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh hasil peningkatan n-gain skor total sebesar 0,7 (tinggi) dengan rincian peningkatan tiap dimensi yaitu pengetahuan (0,8), motivasi (0,8), dan keterampilan (0,6). Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran ini sangat positif dengan rata-rata skor 86%, dimana ini menunjukkan antusiasme dan penerimaan yang baik terhadap pembelajaran. Environmental damage such as deforestation, pollution, and loss of biodiversity are global issues that threaten the sustainability of life. In Indonesia itself, low environmental awareness among students is a serious concern, as reflected in various research results and environmental quality index data that are still classified as very poor. The purpose of this study was to measure the influence of inquiry-based Virtual Field Trip learning on ecosystem material on students' environmental awareness. This study used a pre-experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The instruments were developed based on three dimensions of environmental awareness according to Partanen-Hertell et al. (1999), namely knowledge, motivation, and skills, which were measured through tests and questionnaires. Based on the analysis, it was found that the implementation of inquiry-based VFT on ecosystem material was effective in enhancing students' environmental awareness, as indicated by the increase in total n-gain scores of 0,7 (high), with each dimension showing an increase as follows: knowledge (0.8), motivation (0.8), and skills (0.6). Overall, the treatment proved to be effective in enhancing students' environmental awareness in terms of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Additionally, students' responses to this learning approach were highly positive, with an average score of 86%, indicating enthusiasm and good acceptance of the learning process.
