    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dan budaya organisasi di Sekolah Dasar wilayah Kecamatan Sindangkasih, Kabupaten Ciamis. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan teknik analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis AMOS, penelitian ini melibatkan 137 guru dari 27 Sekolah Dasar melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang mencakup tiga variabel utama: gaya kepemimpinan, kinerja guru, dan budaya organisasi. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru (p-value 0,000 < 0,05; koefisien pengaruh 0,251), serta terhadap budaya organisasi (p-value 0,000 < 0,05; koefisien pengaruh 0,552). Hal ini menandakan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang efektif, yang tercermin dari kemampuan dalam mengambil keputusan, memotivasi, berkomunikasi, mengendalikan bawahan, dan menunjukkan tanggung jawab, mampu meningkatkan kinerja guru sekaligus membentuk budaya organisasi yang positif. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah memiliki peran strategis dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang produktif dan kolaboratif. Oleh karena itu, direkomendasikan agar pihak dinas pendidikan memperkuat program pelatihan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah secara berkelanjutan. Selain itu, penting untuk membangun budaya organisasi yang mendorong profesionalisme, inovasi, dan kerja sama antarstaf sebagai upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dasar di wilayah Kecamatan Sindangkasih. This study aims to examine the influence of the principal's leadership style on teacher performance and organizational culture in elementary schools in Sindangkasih District, Ciamis Regency. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method and AMOS-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis technique, this study involved 137 teachers from 27 elementary schools through a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire covering three main variables: leadership style, teacher performance, and organizational culture. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that the principal's leadership style has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (p-value 0.000 < 0.05; influence coefficient 0.251), as well as on organizational culture (p-value 0.000 < 0.05; influence coefficient 0.552). This indicates that an effective leadership style, which is reflected in the ability to make decisions, motivate, communicate, control subordinates, and demonstrate responsibility, can improve teacher performance while forming a positive organizational culture. The implications of this study indicate that the principal has a strategic role in creating a productive and collaborative work environment. Therefore, it is recommended that the education office strengthen its ongoing leadership training program for school principals. Furthermore, it is crucial to build an organizational culture that encourages professionalism, innovation, and collaboration among staff as an effort to improve the quality of basic education in the Sindangkasih District.
