Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Android menggunakan Articulate Storyline 3 pada materi Hardware Komputer untuk siswa kelas VII SMP, serta mengkaji efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi belajar siswa. Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh rendahnya pemahaman dan motivasi belajar siswa akibat terbatasnya variasi media dan fasilitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahapan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Uji efektivitas dilakukan menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design, dengan melibatkan dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan masuk dalam kategori sangat layak berdasarkan validasi ahli dan uji coba siswa. Penggunaan media interaktif secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, dengan skor angket pada kelas kontrol dari 3,3 menjadi 3,6 (kategori cukup), dan kelas eskprimen meningkat dari 3,2 menjadi 4,4 (kategori sangat tinggi), serta pemahaman , pada kelas kontrol dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,39 (kategori sedang), kemudian kelas eksprimen dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,77 (kategori tinggi). Selain itu, terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar dan pemahaman siswa. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Android ini efektif dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran. This research aims to develop Android-based interactive learning media using Articulate Storyline 3 on Computer Hardware material for class VII SMP students, as well as examining its effectiveness in increasing students' understanding and motivation to learn. The research background is based on students' low understanding and motivation to learn due to the limited variety of learning media and facilities. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The effectiveness test was carried out using a quasi-experimental design type Nonequivalent Control Group Design, involving two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The research results show that the media developed is in the very feasible category based on expert validation and student trials. The use of interactive media significantly increased students' learning motivation, with questionnaire scores in the control class from 3.3 to 3.6 (fair category), and the experimental class increased from 3.2 to 4.4 (very high category), as well as concept understanding, in the control class with an N-Gain value of 0.39 (medium category), then in the experimental class with an N-Gain value of 0.77 (high category). In addition, there is a significant positive relationship between learning motivation and students' understanding of concepts. Thus, this Android-based interactive learning media is effective in supporting the learning process.
