Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dan goal setting dengan hasil belajar senam pada siswa kelas X di SMAN 7 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional, melibatkan 36 siswa yang dipilih melalui cluster random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah tervalidasi untuk kepercayaan diri dan penetapan tujuan, serta tes kinerja untuk hasil belajar senam, khususnya gerakan roll depan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel kepercayaan diri, penetapan tujuan, dan hasil belajar senam berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukkan hubungan positif yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dan penetapan tujuan (r = 0.952), kepercayaan diri dan hasil belajar (r = 0.968), serta penetapan tujuan dan hasil belajar (r = 0.964), dengan nilai p 0.000 untuk semua hubungan. Analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan pengaruh gabungan yang signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dan penetapan tujuan terhadap hasil belajar, dengan koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0.956, menunjukkan bahwa 95,6% variasi dalam hasil belajar dijelaskan oleh kedua variabel tersebut. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya faktor psikologis dan kognitif dalam mendukung pencapaian belajar pendidikan jasmani. Studi ini menyarankan agar guru menekankan strategi penetapan tujuan dan membangun kepercayaan diri siswa untuk meningkatkan kinerja senam. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-confidence and goal setting with gymnastics learning outcomes in 10th-grade students at SMAN 7 Bandung. Using a quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional design, the research involved 36 students selected through cluster random sampling. Data were collected using validated questionnaires for self-confidence and goal setting, and performance tests for gymnastics outcomes, particularly forward rolls. The results showed that all three variables self- confidence, goal setting, and gymnastics learning outcomes were normally distributed and homogeneous. Pearson correlation analysis revealed a very strong and significant positive relationship between self-confidence and goal setting (r = 0.952), self-confidence and learning outcomes (r = 0.968), and goal setting and learning outcomes (r = 0.964), all with p-values of 0.000. Multiple regression analysis showed a significant combined influence of self-confidence and goal setting on learning outcomes, with a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.956, indicating that 95.6% of the variance in learning outcomes is explained by both variables. These findings highlight the importance of psychological and cognitive factors in supporting physical education learning achievements. The study suggests that teachers should emphasize goal-setting strategies and build students' confidence to enhance gymnastics performance.
