    Abstract

    Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan kompetensi penting yang harus dimiliki siswa di abad ke-21. Namun, kemampuan siswa Indonesia dinilai kurang, hal ini dapat dilihat saat siswa kesulitan menjawab pertanyaan yang memerlukan proses berpikir tingkat tinggi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diperlukan model pembelajaran yang interaktif dan media yang mendukung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Group Investigation berbantuan infografis terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SD dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group, melibatkan 54 siswa. Instrumen pretest dan posttest digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan aplikasi IBM SPSS versi 25. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model Group Investigation berbantuan infografis berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil N-gain yang menunjukan perolehan kelas eksperimen lebih besar dibanding kelas kontrol dengan persentase sebesar 64% untuk kelas eksperimen, terutama pada indikator interpretasi dan inferensi yang mencapai kategori tinggi, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh hasil N-gain sebesar 55% dan indikator interpretasi saja yang mencapai kategori tinggi. ----- Critical thinking skills are essential competencies that students must possess in the 21st century. However, based on the 2022 PISA results, the average science score of Indonesian students was only 383, which is lower than the OECD average. To address this issue, interactive learning models and supportive media are needed. This study aims to determine the effect of the Group Investigation (GI) model assisted by infographics on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade elementary school students in science learning. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design, involving 54 students. Pretest and posttest instruments were used to measure critical thinking skills before and after the treatment. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS version 25. The results showed that the GI model assisted by infographics had a positive effect on improving critical thinking skills. This was evident from the N-gain results, which indicated that the experimental class outperformed the control class, with a percentage gain of 64% for the experimental class particularly in the indicators of interpretation and inference, which reached the high category while the control class achieved an N-gain of 55% and only the interpretation indicator reached the high category.
