    Abstract

    Kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi Basis Data, seringkali disebabkan oleh pendekatan pembelajaran yang masih bersifat satu arah dan minim interaksi. Ketika siswa hanya menjadi penerima informasi pasif, potensi mereka untuk mengembangkan kemampuan logical thinking tidak berkembang secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran interaktif dibutuhkan agar siswa lebih aktif berpikir dan terlibat dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif bernama Thinkr Web-App yang mengintegrasikan Understanding by Design (UbD) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan logical thinking siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, serta pendekatan kuantitatif melalui desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI PPLG 1 di SMK Negeri 4 Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Thinkr Web-App berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan logical thinking siswa. Rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 56,85 meningkat menjadi 79,03 pada posttest, dengan skor n-gain sebesar 0,51 yang termasuk kategori “Sedang”. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada indikator logical thinking, yakni keruntutan berpikir, kemampuan berargumen, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Tanggapan siswa terhadap media ini juga sangat positif, dengan rata-rata skor 90,08%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi UbD dalam media Thinkr Web-App mampu menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna, dan efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan logical thinking siswa pada mata pelajaran Basis Data. Students' difficulty in understanding Database material is often caused by a one-way learning approach and minimal interaction. When students are only passive recipients of information, their potential to develop logical thinking skills is not optimized. Therefore, interactive learning is needed so that students are more actively thinking and involved in the learning process. This research aims to develop an interactive learning media called Thinkr Web-App that integrates Understanding by Design (UbD) to improve students' logical thinking skills. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, as well as a quantitative approach through a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research subjects were students of class XI PPLG 1 at SMK Negeri 4 Bandung. The results showed that the use of Thinkr Web-App media had a positive impact on improving students' logical thinking skills. The average pretest score of 56.85 increased to 79.03 on the posttest, with an n-gain score of 0.51 which is included in the “Medium” category. The increase also occurred in logical thinking indicators, namely orderly thinking, argumentative ability, and conclusion drawing. Student responses to this media were also very positive, with an average score of 90.08%. This finding shows that the integration of UbD in Thinkr Web-App media is able to create a more meaningful learning experience, and is effective in developing students' logical thinking skills in Database subjects.
