    Abstract

    Era globalisasi yang diiringi kemajuan IPTEK menuntut peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, salah satunya melalui penguatan keterampilan 4C (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan peningkatan keterampilan 4C peserta didik melalui penerapan model project based learning pada materi pengolahan limbah nabati. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) sebanyak 2 siklus dengan sampel 34 peserta didik kelas XI APHP 3 SMKN Pertanian Pembangunan Lembang Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan model project based learning termasuk ke dalam kategori “Sangat Baik” pada kedua siklus. Kemampuan komunikasi dan kolaborasi peserta didik meningkat dari kategori “Baik” menjadi “Sangat Baik”. Kemampuan kreativitas peserta didik menunjukkan hasil positif yakni berada pada kategori “Sangat Kreatif” pada kedua siklus. Kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik menunjukkan peningkatan dengan skor n-gain dalam kategori “Tinggi”. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model project based learning melalui elemen penanganan limbah pengolahan hasil pertanian dengan materi pengolahan limbah nabati dapat meningkatkan keterampilan 4C peserta didik. Kebaruan dari penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi model project based learning dengan materi kontekstual berbasis pengolahan limbah nabati untuk meningkatkan keterampilan 4C peserta didik SMK. The era of globalization, accompanied by rapid advances in science and technology, demands improvements in education quality, particularly through the enhancement of 4C skills (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity). This study aims to examine the implementation of learning activities and the improvement of students 4C skills through the application of the Project Based Learning model in plant-based waste processing material. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) over two cycles with a sample of 34 students from class XI APHP 3 at SMKN Pertanian Pembangunan Lembang in the 2024/2025 academic year. The results indicated that the implementation of Project Based Learning was categorized as “Very Good” in both cycles. Students communication and collaboration skills improved from the “Good” to the “Very Good” category. Their creativity consistently remained in the “Very Creative” category across both cycles. Critical thinking skills showed improvement with an N-Gain score categorized as “High.” The implications of this study indicate that applying the Project Based Learning model through the context of agricultural waste processing materials is effective in enhancing students 4C skills. The novelty of this research lies in integrating the Project Based Learning model with contextual learning based on plant-based waste processing to strengthen vocational students 4C competencies in agricultural education.
