Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua tahun ajaran 2024/2025 pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran langsung yaitu metode problem solving dan metode problem posing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan motivasi belajar sebagai variabel moderator pada mata pelajaran ekonomi pada materi Kebijakan Fiskal. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Penelitian dilakukan pada dua kelas eksperimen yaitu eksperimen 1 dengan metode problem solving dan eksperimen 2 dengan metode problem posing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1)Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara peserta didik kelas eksperimen 1 dengan kelas eksperimen 2. (2)Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen 1 yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi dan rendah. (3)Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara peserta didik kelas eksperimen 1 dengan eksperimen 2 yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi. (4)Tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara peserta didik kelas eksperimen 1 dengan eksperimen 2 yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah. (5)Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen 1 yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi dengan peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen 2 yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah. (6)Tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen 1 yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah dengan peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen 2 yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi. (7)Terdapat interaksi antara metode problem solving dan metode problem posing dengan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low critical thinking ability of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua for the 2024/2025 academic year in economics. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of direct learning methods, namely the problem solving method and the problem posing method, on the critical thinking ability of students with learning motivation as a moderator variable in economics subjects in Fiscal Policy material. The method used is quasi experimental with a 2x2 factorial design. The research was conducted in two experimental classes, namely experiment 1 with the problem solving method and experiment 2 with the problem posing method. The results of the study showed: (1) There was a difference in critical thinking skills between students in experimental class 1 and experimental class 2. (2)There was a difference in critical thinking skills between students in experimental class 1 who had high and low learning motivation. (3)There is a difference in critical thinking skills between students in experiment class 1 and experiment 2 who have high learning motivation. (4)There was no difference in critical thinking skills between students in experimental class 1 and experiment 2 who had low learning motivation. (5)There was a difference in critical thinking skills between students in experimental class 1 who had high learning motivation and students in experimental class 2 who had low learning motivation. (6)There was no difference in critical thinking skills between students in experimental class 1 who had low learning motivation and students in experimental class 2 who had high learning motivation. (7)There is an interaction between the problem solving method and the problem posing method with learning motivation on students' critical thinking skills.
