    Abstract

    Skripsi dengan Judul " Konteks Musikalitas Paduan Suara SDN 2 Sukamanah Kota Tasikmalaya dalam Menyanyikan Lagu-Lagu Wajib Nasional" menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji konteks musikalitas paduan suara di SDN 2 Sukamanah dalam membawakan lagu-lagu wajib nasional. Fokus utama mencakup kesesuaian nyanyian paduan suara dengan notasi lagu asli, pola latihan yang diterapkan oleh pembina, serta dampaknya terhadap kemampuan musikal peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan paduan suara, terdapat ketidaksesuaian dengan notasi asli lagu wajib nasional, khususnya penambahan ornamentasi vokal lokal yang menjadi ciri khas di SDN 2 Sukamanah. Pola latihan yang diterapkan oleh guru masih bersifat sederhana, tidak menggunakan bahan ajar tertulis maupun media pembelajaran yang memadai. Meskipun variasi lokal tersebut memberi ruang bagi ekspresi musikal yang lebih hidup dan kontekstual, hal ini juga menimbulkan kesenjangan terhadap standar musikal yang berlaku secara nasional. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan pelatihan paduan suara yang lebih terstruktur, berbasis teori musik, dan mampu menyeimbangkan antara pelestarian ekspresi musikal lokal dengan keterpaduan standar nasional. This thesis, entitled “The Context of Musicality in the Choir of SDN 2 Sukamanah, Tasikmalaya City in Performing National Songs”. This thesis employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. The purpose of the study is to examine the context of musicality in the choir at SDN 2 Sukamanah in performing national songs. The main focus includes the alignment of the choir’s singing with the original musical notation, the training patterns implemented by the instructor, and the impact on the students' musical abilities. The findings reveal inconsistencies between the choir's performance and the original notation of national songs, particularly due to the addition of local vocal ornamentations that have become a distinctive feature at SDN 2 Sukamanah. The training model applied by the teacher remains simple, lacking written teaching materials and adequate learning media. Although these local variations provide space for more expressive and contextual musical expression, they also create a gap with nationally accepted musical standards. Therefore, this study recommends the development of a more structured choir training program based on music theory, aimed at balancing the preservation of local musical expression with adherence to national standards.
