Abstract
Pendahuluan: Kepuasan pasien merupakan indikator utama kualitas pelayanan rumah sakit, perawat berperan penting melalui perilaku caring yang mencakup empati, komunikasi, dan perhatian. Caring perawat yang efektif dapat menciptakan rasa nyaman dan meningkatkan kepuasan pasien. Namun, masih ditemukannya pasien yang kurang puas meskipun perawat telah menunjukkan sikap caring. Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya penelitian lebih lanjut. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara caring perawat dengan kepuasan pasien di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Bandung Kiwari. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi berjumlah 91 orang, dengan sampel sebanyak 66 responden dipilih melalui teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Penelitian ini melibatkan pasien rawat inap yaitu pasien bedah, dan penyakit dalam. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI-24) digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat caring perawat dan kuesioner kepuasan pasien digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan pasien. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi Square. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 53,0% responden menilai caring perawat dalam kategori baik, dan 50,0% responden menyatakan puas terhadap pelayanan yang diterima. Hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara caring perawat dengan kepuasan pasien (p = 0,001). Simpulan: Hasil penelitian ini memperkuat pentingnya perilaku caring perawat dalam membentuk kepuasan pasien, namun juga menekankan perlunya pendekatan pelayanan yang menyeluruh untuk menciptakan pengalaman perawatan yang memuaskan bagi pasien. Dimensi caring yang paling berperan dalam memengaruhi kepuasan pasien adalah hubungan saling percaya antara perawat dan pasien. Hal ini selaras dengan faktor karatif ke-4 dalam teori Jean Watson. Introduction: Patient satisfaction is a key indicator of hospital service quality, and nurses play an important role through caring behaviors that include empathy, communication, and attention. Effective nursing care can create a sense of comfort and increase patient satisfaction. However, there are stillnpatients who are dissatisfied even though nurses have shown caring attitudes. This highlights the need for further research. Objective: The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between nursing care and patient satisfaction in the inpatient ward of Bandung Kiwari Regional General Hospital. Research Methodology: This study employs a quantitative correlational research design and a cross sectional approach. The population consists of 91 individuals, with a sample of 66 respondents selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. The study involved inpatients, specifically surgical patients and those with internal medicine conditions. The instruments used were the Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI-24) to measure the level of nursing care and a patient satisfaction questionnaire to measure the level of patient satisfaction. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. Results and Discussion: The results of the study showed that 53.0% of respondents rated nurses' caring in the good category, and 50.0% of respondents stated that they were satisfied with the services they received. The Chi-Square test results showed a significant relationship between nurses' caring and patient satisfaction (p = 0.001). Conclusion: The results of this study reinforce the importance of nurses' caring behavior in shaping patient satisfaction, but also emphasize the need for a comprehensive service approach to create a satisfying care experience for patients. The dimension of caring that plays the most significant role in influencing patient satisfaction is the mutual trust between nurses and patients. This is in line with the fourth caring factor in Jean Watson's theory.
