Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses penanaman nilai-nilai bela negara pada peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Lembang melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, serta mengkaji dampak teknologi digital terhadap kesadaran kebangsaan mereka. Dalam konteks perkembangan zaman yang ditandai dengan kemajuan teknologi dan globalisasi, generasi muda khususnya Generasi Alpha dihadapkan pada tantangan serius, seperti ketergantungan terhadap ponsel, terpapar konten negatif, dan menurunnya minat terhadap kegiatan kebangsaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru, orang tua, dan siswa, serta dokumentasi kegiatan belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran bela negara pada peserta didik masih belum merata serta dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, termasuk kurangnya peran aktif keluarga, metode pembelajaran yang kurang menarik, serta pengaruh negatif dari penggunaan teknologi yang tidak terkontrol. Guru memiliki peran penting sebagai fasilitator nilai-nilai kebangsaan di sekolah, sementara orang tua diharapkan mampu menjadi pembimbing yang teladan di rumah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa upaya penanaman nilai bela negara perlu dilakukan secara kolaboratif antara sekolah dan keluarga, serta melalui pendekatan yang adaptif di zaman digitalisasi. This study aims to analyze the process of instilling national defense values among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Lembang through Civics Education learning, while also exploring the impact of digital technology on their sense of national awareness. In the era of globalization and rapid technological advancement, Generation Alpha faces significant challenges, such as dependence on digital devices, exposure to negative content, and a declining interest in national identity and civic engagement. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, parents, and students, as well as documentation of learning activities. The findings indicate that students’ awareness of national defense is uneven and influenced by various factors, including the lack of active parental involvement, unengaging teaching methods, and the uncontrolled use of technology. Teachers play a crucial role as facilitators of civic values in schools, while parents are expected to serve as role models at home. The study concludes that the cultivation of national defense values must be carried out collaboratively between schools and families, using adaptive approaches in response to the dynamics of the digital era.
