    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan model flipped learning dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan penguasaan jurus tunggal pada peserta ekstrakurikuler pencak silat di SMPN 5 Padalarang. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada fenomena rendahnya penguasaan teknik jurus tunggal dan kurangnya rasa percaya diri siswa akibat keteratasan waktu latihan serta penggunaan metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang optimal. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design, melibatkan 40 siswa yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok eksperimen (flipped learning) dan kelompok kontrol (pembelajaran konvensional). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test menggunakan instrumen angket kepercayaan diri (adaptasi SCLS) dan blangko penilaian jurus tunggal dari IPSI. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa model flipped learning secara signifikan meningkatkan rasa percaya diri (Z = -3,937; p<0,001) dan penguasaan jurus tunggal (t=-19,869; p < 0,001) pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Selain itu, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara kedua kelompok, di mana flipped learning memberikan dampak yang lebih besar terhadap kedua variabel tersebut. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa inovasi pembelajaran berbasis flipped learning efektif dalam mengoptimalkan hasil belajar afektif dan psikomotorik pada pembelajaran pencak silat, serta dapat dijadikan rujukan dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran olahraga yang lebih interaktif dan berbasis teknologi di lingkungan sekolah menengah. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the flipped learning model in improving self-confidence and mastery of the jurus tunggal (single form) among extracurricular pencak silat participants at SMPN 5 Padalarang. The background of the study was based on the phenomenon of low mastery of jurus tunggal techniques and a lack of student self-confidence due to limited training time and the use of conventional teaching methods, which were less optimal. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design, involving 40 students divided into an experimental group (flipped learning) and a control group (conventional learning). Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests using a self-confidence questionnaire (adapted from SCLS) and the jurus tunggal assessment form from IPSI. Statistical analysis results showed that the flipped learning model significantly improved self-confidence (Z = -3.937; p < 0.001) and mastery of the jurus tunggal (t = -19.869; p < 0.001) in the experimental group compared to the control group. Furthermore, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups, with flipped learning having a greater impact on both variables. These findings confirmed that flipped learning-based instructional innovation was effective in optimizing affective and psychomotor learning outcomes in pencak silat instruction, and it could serve as a reference for developing more interactive and technology-based sports learning strategies in secondary schools.
