    Abstract

    Latar belakang: Kekurangan gizi dan stres selama kehamilan merupakan isu penting yang dapat memengaruhi kesehatan ibu serta perkembangan janin. Status gizi yang buruk dan stres yang tinggi dapat meningkatkan risiko komplikasi selama kehamilan dan persalinan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kualitas diet dan tingkat stres dengan status gizi ibu hamil di Kecamatan Cangkuang, Kabupaten Bandung. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional dan melibatkan ibu hamil yang dipilih menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner kualitas diet (dikonversikan ke format Minimum Dietary Diversity for Women (MDD-W)), kuesioner tingkat stres (menggunakan Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS-42)), dan pengukuran status gizi menggunakan Lingkar Lengan Atas (LiLA). Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi karakteristik responden dan pola konsumsi makronutrien. Hasil: Mayoritas responden berada dalam rentang usia 20–35 tahun dan memiliki kualitas diet yang baik. Namun, sebagian besar asupan energi, protein, dan karbohidrat masih berada di bawah 80% dari angka kecukupan gizi harian. Tingkat stres responden umumnya tergolong normal. Analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa kualitas diet dan tingkat stres memiliki hubungan yang signifikan (p value ≤ 0,05) dengan status gizi responden. Responden dengan kualitas diet berkualitas baik dan tingkat stres rendah cenderung memiliki status gizi yang lebih baik. Kesimpulan: kualitas diet dan tingkat stres secara signifikan memengaruhi status gizi ibu hamil. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya edukasi gizi dan manajemen stres dalam upaya peningkatan kesehatan ibu selama kehamilan. Kata Kunci: ibu hamil; kualitas diet; status gizi; tingkat stres. Background: Malnutrition and stress during pregnancy are significant issues that can affect maternal health and fetal development. Poor nutritional status and high stress levels increase the risk of complications during pregnancy and childbirth. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between diet quality and stress levels with the nutritional status of pregnant women in Cangkuang District, Bandung Regency. Methods: A quantitative cross-sectional design was used, involving pregnant women selected by convenience sampling. Data were collected through a diet quality questionnaire (converted into the Minimum Dietary Diversity for Women [MDD-W] format), a stress level questionnaire (using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales [DASS-42]), and nutritional status measurements based on Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC). The study also identified respondent characteristics and macronutrient consumption patterns. Results: The majority of respondents were aged 20–35 years and had good diet quality. However, most energy, protein, and carbohydrate intakes were below 80% of the recommended daily allowance. Respondents’ stress levels were generally normal. Statistical analysis showed a significant relationship (p value ≤ 0.05) between diet quality and stress level with respondents’ nutritional status. Pregnant women with good diet quality and low stress levels tended to have better nutritional status. Conclusion: Diet quality and stress levels significantly affect the nutritional status of pregnant women. These findings emphasize the importance of nutrition education and stress management to improve maternal health during pregnancy.
