Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa hambatan dalam pembelajaran pengelasan pada kelas XI Airframe Mechanic 1 di SMK Negeri 12 Bandung, antara lain: keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana yang tersedia, alokasi waktu pembelajaran yang terbatas yaitu hanya 15 JP untuk pembelajaran teori dan praktik, sedangkan tuntutan yang harus dicapai peserta didik sangat tinggi, serta penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang variatif dan hanya berupa presentasi PowerPoint. Hambatan-hambatan ini berdampak pada rendahnya penguasaan keterampilan dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) memperoleh data hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum menggunakan aplikasi Welducation Basic, 2) memperoleh data hasil belajar setelah penggunaan aplikasi tersebut, dan 3) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar yang terjadi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, dengan desain PreExperimental berbentuk Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 34 siswa kelas XI Airframe Mechanic 1. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes (Pretest dan Posttest) dengan instrumen berupa soal pilihan ganda dan tes kinerja. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan rumus N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada aspek kognitif dan psikomotor setelah menggunakan aplikasi Welducation Basic, dari yang sebelumnya nilai rata-rata berada di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM), menjadi berada di atas KKM. Kesimpulannya, penerapan aplikasi simulator Welducation Basic berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan kategori peningkatan sedang. This study was motivated by several obstacles in learning welding in class XI Airframe Mechanic 1 at SMK Negeri 12 Bandung, including: limited facilities and infrastructure available, limited learning time allocation which is only 15 JP for learning theory and practice, while the demands that must be achieved by students are very high, and the use of learning media that are less varied and only in the form of PowerPoint presentations. These obstacles have an impact on the low mastery of skills and student learning outcomes. This study aims to: 1) obtain data on students' learning outcomes before using the Welducation Basic application, 2) obtain data on learning outcomes after using the application, and 3) determine the improvement in learning outcomes that occurred. The research used a quantitative approach with experimental methods, with a Pre-Experimental design in the form of Pretest-Posttest Design. The data collection technique used tests (Pretest and Posttest) with instruments in the form of multiple choice questions and performance tests. Data analysis was carried out using the N-Gain formula. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in the cognitive and psychomotor aspects after using the Welducation Basic application, from previously the average value was below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), to being above the KKM. In conclusion, the application of the Welducation Basic simulator application succeeded in improving student learning outcomes with a moderate improvement category.
