Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada mata pelajaran fisika. Penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) berbantuan simulasi CoSci digunakan dalam penelitian pada materi Gerak Lurus Beraturan (GLB) dan Gerak Lurus Berubah Beraturan (GLBB). Metode yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental design dengan varian desain non-equivalent kontrol group design melibatkan 67 peserta didik kelas 11 di salah satu SMA negeri kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar kognitif berjumlah 15 soal menggunakan two-tier multiple choice, lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD), lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dianalisis melalui presentasi rata-rata tiap pertemuan. LKPD peserta didik dianalisis pada skor setiap fase inquiry. Peningkatan setiap indikator hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain. Ukuran dampak pembelajaran dianalisis menggunakan uji Effect Size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model IBL memiliki tingkat keterlaksanaan yang sangat baik (rata-rata 100%). Hasil Uji N-Gain dengan skor 0,83 dengan kategori tinggi dan hasil uji effect size dengan skor 1,190 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model IBL berbantuan simulasi CoSci meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik. This study was motivated by the low cognitive learning outcomes of students in physics subjects. The application of the Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) learning model assisted by CoSci simulation was used in the study to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of students on motion in a straight line and accelerated motion in a straight line materials. The method used was Quasi Experimental design with a variant of non-equivalent control group design involving 67 student 11th grade students in one of the Bandung city public high schools. The instruments used were a cognitive learning outcome test totaling 15 questions using two-tier multiple choice, student worksheets (LKPD), learning implementation observation sheets. The learning implementation observation sheet was analyzed through the average presentation of each meeting. LKPD of students analyzed on the score of each phase of inquiry LKPD. The increase in each indicator of students' cognitive learning outcomes was analyzed using the N-Gain test. The size of the learning impact was analyzed using the Effect Size test. The results showed that the IBL model had a very good level of implementation (average 100%). The N-Gain test results with a score of 0.83 with a high category and the effect size test results with a score of 1.190 with a very high category. This shows that the IBL model assisted by CoSci simulation improves the cognitive learning outcomes of students.
