Abstract
Desa Wisata Alamendah memiliki potensi yang signifikan untuk dikembangkan sebagai destinasi wisata gastronomi, mengingat kekayaan sumber daya alam dan makanan khas yang dimilikinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana desa wisata ini dapat mengembangkan wisata gastronomi dengan mengidentifikasi komponen gastronomi, serta penerapan analisis PESTEL sebagai strategi pengembangannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Desa Alamendah memiliki berbagai potensi kuliner, termasuk produk pertanian lokal dan makanan khasnya. Namun, tantangan dalam promosi dan kesadaran wisatawan perlu diatasi. Strategi pengembangan yang direkomendasikan mencakup kolaborasi antara stakeholder, peningkatan promosi, edukasi tentang gastronomi lokal, dan optimalisasi sumber daya lokal. Dengan strategi yang tepat, pariwisata gastronomi dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan melestarikan budaya lokal. Alamendah Tourism Village has significant potential to be developed as a gastronomy tourism destination, given its rich natural resources and specialty foods. This research aims to understand how this tourism village can develop gastronomy tourism by identifying gastronomy components, as well as the application of PESTEL analysis as its development strategy. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The results showed that Alamendah Village has various culinary potentials, including local agricultural products and specialty foods. However, challenges in promotion and tourist awareness need to be addressed. Recommended development strategies include collaboration between stakeholders, increased promotion, education on local gastronomy, and optimization of local resources. With the right strategy, gastronomy tourism can improve community welfare and preserve local culture.
