    Abstract

    Kemampuan berpikir kritis menjadi salah satu kemampuan yang wajib dikembangkan pada pendidikan abad-21, karena dapat melatih siswa dalam menganalisis dan memecahkan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun berdasarkan beberapa penelitian terdahulu menunjukan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa masih rendah. Penerapan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning berbantuan media Augmented Reality adalah salah satu cara dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan peningkatan pada kelompok yang berbeda, dengan kelompok eksperimen menggunakan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning berbantuan media Augmnted Reality, sedangkan kelompok kontrol menggunakan pendekatan kooperatif berbantuan power point. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasi eksperimen dengan design non-equivalent control group dengan jumlah sampel 50 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning berbantuan media Augmented Reality sebesar 58,1% dengan skor N-gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,67 dan kelas kontrol 0,56. Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang mendapatkan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning berbantuan media Augmented Reality lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pendekatan kooperatif berbantuan media power point. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan, pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning berbantuan media Augmented Reality dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran khususnya ada kelas IV materi Kekhasan dan Kebhinnekaan bangsa Indonesia. ----- Critical thinking skills are one of the skills that must be developed in 21st century education, because it can train students in analyzing and solving problems in daily life. However, based on several previous studies, it shows that students' critical thinking skills are still low. The application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach assisted by Augmented Reality media is one way to improve students' critical thinking skills. This study aimed to determine the influence and improvement in different groups, with the experimental group using the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach assisted by Augmented Reality media, while the control group used a cooperative approach assisted by power point. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design with a sample of 50 students. The results showed that the influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach assisted by Augmented Reality media was 58.1% with an N-gain score of 0.67 in the experimental class and 0.56 in the control class. There was an improvement in the critical thinking skills of students who received a better Contextual Teaching and Learning approach assisted by Augmented Reality media compared to students who received a cooperative approach assisted by power point media. Based on this, it can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach assisted by Augmented Reality media can be one of the alternatives that can be used in learning, especially in class IV of the Peculiarities and Diversity of the Indonesian nation.
