Disertasi. Dibimbing oleh: Prof. Dr. Syamsu Yusuf, LN, M.Pd (Promotor), Prof. Dr. Juntika Nurihsan, M.Pd (Ko-Promotor), Dr. Yusi Riksa Yustiana, M.Pd (Anggota Promotor) Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan program pengembangan kapasitas guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam menerapkan konseling naratif untuk meningkatkan kebermaknaan hidup siswa SMA dan SMK Kota Baubau. Penelitian program pengembangan kapasitas guru bimbingan dan konseling didasari filsafat pragmatisme dalam mengembangkan kapasitas diri secara maksimal, dan secara eksistensialis membantu individu memiliki kebebasan, tanggung jawab untuk menemukan makna dari setiap pengalaman hidupnya. Program pengembangan kapasitas dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan selama 2 hari dan pendampingan lapangan. Pendekatan penelitian mixed method, dengan desain quasi embedded experimental, secara operasional program pengembangan kapasitas guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam menerapkan konseling naratif dilaksanakan melalui empat tahap yakni, pertama perencanaan (planning), penyusunan (designing), pelaksanaan (implementing) dan evaluasi (evaluating). Partisipan penelitian adalah siswa, guru bimbingan dan konseling dan meibatkan pakar bimbingan dan konseling sebagai validator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertama, tersusunnya struktur komponen program pengembangan kapasitas terdiri 11 komponen yaitu; rasional, landasan kegiatan, tujuan, manfaat, deskripsi kebutuhan, langkah-langkah pelatihan pengembangan kapasitas guru bimbingan dan konseling, langkah-langkah pelaksanaan konseling naratif, action plan, indikator keberhasilan konseling naratif dan evaluasi. Kedua, implementasi program berupa pelatihan pengembangan kapasitas guru bimbingan dan konseling dan pelaksanaan konseling naratif pada siswa di sekolah. Ketiga, evaluasi hasil dan proses berupa keterlaksanaan program pengembangan kapasitas guru BK, penerapan konseling naratif di sekolah dan peningkatan kebermaknaan hidup siswa. Keempat program Pengembangan Kapasitas Guru BK dalam menerapkan konseling naratif secara empirik dan uji statistik terbukti secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kebermaknaan hidup siswa. Supervised by: Prof. Dr. Syamsu Yusuf, LN, M.Pd (Promoter), Prof. Dr. Juntika Nurihsan, M.Pd (co-promoter), Dr. Yusi Riksa Yustiana, M.Pd (Promoter Member) This study aims to produce a capacity development program for guidance and counseling teachers in implementing narrative counseling to improve the meaningfulness of life for high school and vocational high school students in Baubau City. The research on the capacity development program for guidance and counseling teachers is based on the philosophy of pragmatism in developing self capacity to the maximum, and existentially helps individuals have the freedom and responsibility to find meaning from every experience in their life. The capacity development program is implemented through 2-day training and field assistance. The mixed method research approach, with a quasi-embedded experimental design, operationally the capacity development program for guidance and counseling teachers in implementing narrative counseling is implemented through four stages, namely, first planning, designing, implementing and evaluating. The research participants were students, guidance and counseling teachers and involved guidance and counseling experts as validators. The component structure of the capacity development program framework consists of 11 components, namely; rationale, basis for activities, objectives, benefits, description of needs, training steps, stages of narrative counseling implementation, action plan, indicators of narrative counseling success and evaluation. Third, the implementation of the program in the form of training for developing the capacity of guidance and counseling teachers as a trial of the program content and implementation of narrative counseling for students in schools. Fourth, evaluation of the results and processes in the form of the implementation of the BK teacher capacity development program, the application of narrative counseling in schools and increasing the meaningfulness of students' lives. The results of the research on the Guidance and Counseling Teacher capacity development program in implementing narrative counseling empirically and statistically proven to significantly increase the meaningfulness of students' lives.
