Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kecenderungan grit peserta didik sebagai mengembangkan layanan bimbingan dan konseling untuk mengembangkan grit. Grit didefinisikan sebagai kemampuan peserta didik untuk mempertahankan ketekunan, minat, tekad, dan ketahanan dalam mencapai tujuan jangka panjang meskipun menghadapi hambatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei cross-sectional. Partisipan terdiri dari 262 peserta didik kelas X, XI, dan XII yang dipilih menggunakan cluster random sampling. Instrumen pengukuran mencakup empat aspek grit, yaitu Ketekunan (Perseverance of Effort), Konsistensi Minat (Consistency of Interest), Tekad (Determination), dan Ketahanan/Resiliensi (Resilience). Disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas peserta didik berada pada kategori gritty. Selain itu, ditemukan penurunan frekuensi tingkat grit seiring meningkatnya tingkat kelas, dengan aspek tekad (determination) menjadi aspek dengan frekuensi terendah. Salah satu tantangan utama yang diidentifikasi adalah gangguan belajar akibat notifikasi ponsel. Temuan ini menjadi dasar untuk pengembangan layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang difokuskan pada penguatan aspek ketekunan, konsistensi, tekad, dan resiliensi untuk membantu peserta mengembangkan grit. This study aims to describe the tendencies of grit among students and develop guidance and counseling services to foster grit. Grit is defined as students' ability to maintain perseverance, interest, determination, and resilience in achieving long-term goals despite facing obstacles. This study employs a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design. Participants consist of 262 students from grades X, XI, and XII, selected using cluster random sampling. The measurement instrument includes four aspects of grit: Perseverance of Effort, Consistency of Interest, Determination, and Resilience. It is concluded that the majority of students are categorized as gritty. Additionally, a decline in grit levels was observed as the grade level increases, with determination being the aspect with the lowest frequency. One of the main challenges identified is learning disruptions caused by phone notifications. These findings serve as the basis for developing guidance and counseling services focused on strengthening perseverance, consistency, determination, and resilience to help students develop grit.
