    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran etnomatematika melalui permainan engklek terhadap kemampuan visualspasial matematik siswa dalam mengidentifikasi bentuk geometri dua dimensi di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen nonequivalent control group. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV dari dua sekolah dasar di Kelurahan Cijoro Pasir. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil posttest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol (p < 0,05), dengan rata-rata nilai lebih tinggi pada kelas eksperimen. Selain itu, nilai rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,74 (kategori tinggi) sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,52 (kategori sedang). Hasil angket menunjukkan respon positif siswa terhadap pembelajaran etnomatematika dan penggunaan permainan engklek. This study aims to determine the effect of ethnomathematics learning through the game engklek on students' mathematical visual-spatial abilities in identifying two-dimensional geometric shapes in elementary school. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi experimental design of nonequivalent control group. The research subjects were fourth grade students from two elementary schools in Cijoro Pasir Village. The t-test results showed that there was a significant difference between the posttest results of the experimental class and the control class (p < 0.05), with a higher average score in the experimental class. In addition, the average NGain value of the experimental class was 0.74 (high category) while the control class was 0.52 (medium category). The questionnaire results showed students' positive response to ethnomathematics learning and the use of the engklek game.
