Abstract
Masalah gizi, rentan terjadi pada anak prasekolah dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah asupan makan yang tidak memadai dan literasi gizi orang tua. Salah satu jenis makanan yang banyak digemari anak prasekolah adalah makanan ultra proses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor konsumsi makanan ultra proses dan literasi gizi orang tua terhadap status gizi anak prasekolah. Metode kuantitatif dengan desain pendekatan cross sectional digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 60 responden anak prasekolah dan orang tua di TK Pandu dan TK Yaqin Kota Bandung. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mencakup sosiodemografi responden, literasi gizi (pengetahuan, sikap, perilaku) terhadap makanan ultra proses, kuesioner food recall 2x24 jam, dan kuesioner semi quantitative food frequency questionnaire (SQ-FFQ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas status gizi responden berada pada kategori normal (79,3%), terdapat 5,2% anak mengalami obesitas dan 10,3% mengalami overweight. Asupan zat gizi responden berada pada kategori lebih pada energi (43,3%), protein (36,7%), dan lemak (50%). Rata-rata literasi gizi orang tua berada pada kategori baik. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara konsumsi makanan ultra proses, asupan makan, dan literasi gizi orang tua dengan status gizi anak prasekolah (p < 0,05). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konsumsi makanan ultra proses dan tingkat literasi gizi orang tua memberikan dampak pada status gizi anak prasekolah. Nutritional problems that are prone to occur in preschool children can be influenced by various factors, one of which is inadequate food intake and parental nutritional literacy. One type of food that is widely favored by preschool children is ultra-processed food. This study aims to analyze the factors of ultra-processed food consumption and parental nutritional literacy on the nutritional status of preschool children. A quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach design was used in this study. The study sample consisted of 60 preschool children and their parents at Pandu Kindergarten and Yaqin Kindergarten in Bandung City. Data collection used in this study included subject sociodemographics, nutritional literacy (knowledge, attitudes, behavior) towards ultra-processed food, a 2x24-hour food recall questionnaire, and a semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (SQ-FFQ). The results showed that the majority of the subjects' nutritional status was in the normal category (79.3%), 5.2% of children were obese and 10.3% were overweight. The subjects' nutrient intake was in the category of more energy (43.3%), protein (36.7%), and fat (50%). The average nutritional literacy of parents was in the good category. The results of statistical tests showed a significant relationship between consumption of ultra-processed foods, food intake, and nutritional literacy of parents with the nutritional status of preschool children (p < 0.05). This study concluded that consumption of ultra-processed foods and the level of nutritional literacy of parents have an impact on the nutritional status of preschool children.
