    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas afirmasi positif dalam pengembangan self-awareness anak usia dini di kelompok A usia 4–5 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design, di mana anak diberikan tes self-awareness sebelum dan sesudah penerapan afirmasi positif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikansi > 0,05, dan hasil uji paired t-test menggunakan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics 20 menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 (sig < 0,05) dengan t hitung > t tabel, sehingga hipotesis alternatif diterima. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa afirmasi positif efektif dalam mengembangkan self-awareness anak usia dini. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah agar pendidik secara konsisten mengintegrasikan afirmasi positif dalam aktivitas harian di lingkungan PAUD sebagai bagian dari pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan mendukung perkembangan sosial emosional anak secara optimal. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of positive affirmations in the development of early childhood self-awareness in group A aged 4–5 years. This study uses a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design, where children are given a self-awareness test before and after the application of positive affirmations in learning activities. The results of the normality test showed that the data was normally distributed with a significance value of > 0.05, and the results of the paired t-test using the IBM SPSS Statistics 20 application showed a significance value of 0.000 (sig < 0.05) with t calculated > t table, so that an alternative hypothesis was accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that positive affirmations are effective in developing early childhood self-awareness. The recommendation of this study is that educators consistently integrate positive affirmations in daily activities in the PAUD environment as part of fun learning and support the optimal social-emotional development of children.
