Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya penggunaan model pembelajaran terutama dalam mengajarkan olahraga permainan. Pelaksanaan penelitian yaitu dengan mengujicobakan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap olahraga permainan bolabasket khususnya dalam mengajarkan lay up shoot. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu sebanyak 28 orang siswa dari 30 orang populasi. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah tes keterampilan lay up shoot permenit menurut Jackson Baumgartner dan memiliki validitas sebesar 0,78.Berdasarkan hasil penghitungan dan pengujian signifikansi kedua kelompok antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, ternyata kelompok eksperimen lebih memberikan peningkatan yang signifikan. Artinya, penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar lay up shoot di SMP Negeri 1 Karawang Barat. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Hasil Belajar, Lay Up Shoot This research is motivated by the lack of the use of models of learning, especially in teaching sports games.The implementation of the study is to pilot the implementation of cooperative learning model Team Games Tournament (TGT) in basketball games especially in teaching lay up shoot. The method used in this study was an experiment by using a pretest-post test study design: Control Group Design. Sampling from 28 students of 30 populations using ’purposive sampling’. The research instruments used by researchers was lay up shoot skill test per minute according to Baumgartner Jackson and it has a validity of 0.78. Based on the results of the calculation and significance testing of the two groups between the experimental group and the control group, the experimental group turned out to be providing a significant improvement. That is, the implementation of cooperative learning model Team Games Tournament (TGT) has significant impact on learning outcomes lay up shoot in SMP Negeri 1 Karawang Barat.
