Abstract
Latar belakang masalah pada penelitian ini adalah belum diajarkannya keterampilan pencetakan fiberglass di SMK program keahlian otomotif, hal tersebut belum sejalan dengan produsen kendaraan otomotif yang mulai banyak membuat bagian-bagian kendaraannya dari bahan fiberglass. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui eksperimen pembelajaran modeling the way pada keterampilan pencetakan fiberglass di SMK, dan mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik pada keterampilan pencetakan fiberglass tersebut. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one shoot case study dimana pada desain penelitian ini dilakukan treatment pada subjek penelitian setelah itu dilakukan test yang berupa performance test untuk mengetahui hasil dari treatment sebelumnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini: (1) Pelaksanaan eksperimen pembelajaran modeling the way yaitu kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh pendidik dan peserta didik yang meliputi proses persiapan, proses pembelajaran dan evaluasi; (2) Implementasi pembelajaran modeling the way pada keterampilan pencetakan fiberlass di SMK menghasilkan siswa menjadi bisa melaksanakan dan mendemonstrasikan proses pencetakan fiberglass. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Pencetakan Fiberglass, Strategi pembelajaran Modeling the Way Background in this research is not teaches fiberglass moulding skills in automotive program at vocational High School, it is not yet in line with automotive vehicle manufacturers which are starting to make a lot of on site parts from fiberglass materials. The purpose of this research is to know the experiment modeling the way Learning Strategies on a fiberglass moulding skills in vocational high school, and to know the results of the learnings on the fiberglass molding skills at vocational high school. The methods used in this research is a pre- experiments methods with design one shoot case study where in this research design was conducted treatment on the subject research after it conducted a test in the form of a performance test to subject for find out the results of previous treatment. The results of this study: (1) implementation of the experiment modeling the way learning that the activities carried out by educators and learners which includes the process of preparation, the process of learning and evaluation; (2) Implementation modeling the way learning on fiberglass moulding skills in vocational high school resulting in students being able to implement and demonstrate the process fiberglass moulding skills.
