    Abstract

    Pendidikan di Indonesia tentunya mengalami perubahan seiring dengan perkembangan zaman yang semakin dinamis, salah satunya dengan diterapkannya Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan pada penguatan karakter melalui Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) terutama tema gaya hidup berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi P5 melalui kegiatan daur ulang bahan bekas kertas dalam mengoptimalkan gaya hidup berkelanjutan, dengan fokus kelas 5 B SDN Sukabumi Selatan 06 Pagi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kegiatan P5 dilaksanakan melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan serta melibatkan kerja sama antara siswa, guru dan orang tua. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya mengajarkan tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan, tetapi juga mengembangkan karakter siswa, seperti kerja sama, tanggung jawab dan kreativitas. Meskipun pada siswa terdapat tantangan dalam teknik proses pembuatan dan dinamika kelompok. Upaya untuk mengatasi tantangan dilakukan dengan bimbingan teknik, pembagian tugas dan koordinasi dengan orang tua. Dengan demikian, implementasi P5 melalui daur ulang bahan bekas kertas dapat mengajarkan siswa untuk menerapkan gaya hidup berkelanjutan serta memperkuat Profil Pelajar Pancasila, khususnya peduli lingkungan. Education in Indonesia has undoubtedly undergone changes in line with the increasingly dynamic developments of the times, one of which is the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum). This curriculum emphasizes character building through the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), particularly focusing on the theme of a sustainable lifestyle. This study aims to analyze the implementation of P5 through recycling activities using used paper materials to optimize a sustainable lifestyle, focusing on Grade 5B at SDN Sukabumi Selatan 06 Pagi. The approach used is qualitative, employing a case study method. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and supporting documentation. The research findings show that P5 activities are conducted through planning and implementation, involving collaboration between students, teachers, and parents. These activities not only teach the importance of environmental preservation but also help develop students' character traits, such as teamwork, responsibility, and creativity. Despite challenges faced by students, including technical difficulties in the recycling process and group dynamics, efforts were made to overcome these challenges through technical guidance, task delegation, and coordination with parents. Thus, the implementation of P5 through recycling used paper materials can teach students to adopt a sustainable lifestyle while strengthening the Profil Pelajar Pancasila, particularly in fostering environmental awareness.
